Song 110/Yahweh and his chosen king

Psa 110:1–7

110 A song by David.

110The declaration of Yahweh to my lord, “Sit on my right

until I defeat your enemies.”

2Yahweh will expand your power as king outwards from Tsiyyon—

you’ll rule in the middle of your enemies.

3When you exert your strength in battle,

your people voluntarily follow in full battle dress.

From the place where the dawn is birthed, your youth will be like dew to you.

4Yahweh has promised, and won’t not change his mind:

“You’re a priest forever following the pattern of Melchizedek.”

5My master is helping right beside you.

He’ll crush kings once he gets angry.

6He will judge the nations and fill them with corpses.

He will crush the heads of many countries.

7He will drink from the stream along the road,

therefore, he’ll be reenergised.
