16 And he _arrived also to Derbaʸ and to Lustra.
And see, a_ certain _apprentice/follower was there by_the_name Timotheos, the_son of_a_ believing _woman Youdaiōns, but ^his_father was of_a_Hellaʸn, 2 who was _being _attested by the brothers in Lustra and Ikonion.
3 The Paulos wanted this one to _come _out with him, and having _taken he _circumcised him, because _of the Youdaiōns which being in the those places, because/for all had _known that the father of _him he _was _being a_Hellaʸn.
4 And while they _were _passing _through the cities, they _were _giving _over to _them the decrees to _be _keeping which having _been _judged by of _the ambassadors and elders which in Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim).
5 Therefore indeed the assemblies were _being _strengthened in _the faith, and they _were _being _plentiful the in _number in _every day.
6 And they _passed _through the Frugia and the_Galatikos region, having _been _forbidden by the holy spirit to _speak the message in the Asia, 7 and having _come down the to _Musia, they _were _attempting to _be _gone into the Bithunia, and the spirit of_Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) not allowed them, 8 and having _passed _by the Musia, they _came _down to Trōias.
9 And through the_night a_vision was _seen to_ the _Paulos, a_ Certain from _Makedonia _man was having _stood and imploring him and saying:
Having _passed _through into Makedonia, give _help to _us.
10 And when he _saw the vision, immediately we _sought to _come _out to Makedonia, concluding that the god has _called _to us to _evangelize them.
11 therefore having _been _launched from Trōias, we _ran _straight to Samothrakaʸ, and on _the_ following _day to New City, 12 and _from _there to Filippou, which is the_leading city of _the district of _Makedonia, a_colony.
And we _were staying in this the city some days.
13 And on _the day of _the days _of _rest, we _came _out outside the gate by a_river, where we _were _thinking prayer to _be, and having _sat _down we _were _speaking to _the women having _come _together.
14 And a_certain woman by_the_name Ludia, a_seller _of _purple of_the_city of _Thuateira, worshipping the god was _hearing, of _whom the master opened _up her heart, to _be _taking _heed to _the things being _spoken by the Paulos.
15 And when she _was _immersed and the house of _her, she _implored saying:
If you _all _have _judged me to _be faithful to _the master, having _come _in into the house of _me, be _remaining.
And she _urged us.
16 And it _became, of _us going to the prayer place, a_ certain _servant _girl having a_ python _spirit, to _meet with _us, who fortune-telling was _bringing _about much business for _the masters of _her.
17 This woman following the after _Paulos and was _crying _out to _us saying:
These the men are slaves of_ The the highest _god, who are _proclaiming to _you _all the_way of _salvation.
18 And she _was _doing this for many days.
But Paulos having _been _thoroughly _disturbed, and having _turned _back by _the spirit said:
I _am _commanding to _you in the_name of_Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) chosen _one /messiah to _come _out from her.
And it _came _out to_ the _same hour.
19 But the masters of _her having _seen that the hope of _the business of _them, going _out, having _taken _hold _of the Paulos and the Silas, they _dragged them into the marketplace before the rulers, 20 and having _brought_ them _forward to _the officers, they _said:
These the men being Youdaiōns are _disturbing the city of _us, 21 and they _are _proclaiming customs that it _is_ not _permitting for _us to _be _accepting nor to _be _practicing, being Ɽōmaios.
22 And the a_crowd rose _up _together against them, and the officers having _torn _off of _them the robes, were _commanding to _be _beating _with _rods them.
23 And having _inflicted many blows on _them, they _throw them into prison, having _commanded to _the prison _guard to _be _keeping them securely, 24 who having _received such charge, throw them into the inner prison, and secured their feet of _them in the stocks.
25 But to the midnight, Paulos and Silas praying, were _singing _hymns the to_god, and the prisoners were _listening to _them.
26 And suddenly an_ great _earthquake became, so _that the foundations of _the prison to _be _shaken, and immediately all the doors were _opened _up, and the bonds of _all was _unfastened.
27 And the prison _guard having _become awoken, and having _seen the doors of _the prison having _been _opened _up, having _drawn his sword he _was _going to _be _killing himself, thinking the prisoners to _have _escaped.
28 But Paulos called with_a_ loud _voice saying:
You _may _do nothing harm to _yourself, because/for we _are all here.
29 And having _requested lights, he _rushed _in, and having _become trembling, he _fell _before to_ the _Paulos and Silas.
30 And having _brought_ them _forth out was _saying:
Masters, what is _fitting me to _be _doing, in _order _that I _may _be _saved?
31 And they said:
Believe in the master Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) and you _will _be _being _saved, you and the household of _you.
32 And they _spoke the message of _the master to _him, with all the ones in the house of _him.
33 And having _taken them in that the hour of _the night, he _washed them from their wounds, and he _was _immersed, he and the ones of _him all immediately.
34 And having _brought_ them _up into the house, he _set _before a_table for _them and exulted with _all _the _household, having _believed the in_god.
35 And having _become day, the officers sent _out the policemen saying:
Send _away the those men.
36 And the prison _guard reported the messages to the Paulos:
that The officers /Have /_sent _out, in _order _that you _all _may _be _sent _away.
Therefore now having _come _out, be _going in peace.
37 But the Paulos was _saying to them:
Having _beat us with _publicly, uncondemned men being Ɽōmaios, they _throw us into prison and now secretly they _are _throwing_ us _out?
For/Because no, but having _come themselves, them _let _lead_ us _out.
38 And the policemen reported the these messages to _the officers.
And they _were _afraid having _heard that they _are Ɽōmaios.
39 And having _come, they _appealed to _them, and having _led _out them, they _were _asking them to _go _away From the city.
40 And having _come _out from the prison, they _came _in to the Ludia, and having _seen them, they _exhorted the brothers and they _came _out.
