1:28 Yishmael’s descendants

(Gen. 25:12-16)

28 Avraham’s sons were Yitshak (Isaac) and Yishmael (Ishmael). 29 These were their family lines: The first son born to Yishmael (the son of Avraham’s slave-wife Hagar) was Nevayot, then his other sons Kedar, Adbe’el, Mivsam, 30 Mishma, Dumah, Masa, Hadad, Teyma, 31 Yetur, Nafish, and Kedemah. Those were Yishmael’s twelve sons. 32 The sons of Avraham’s slave-wife Keturah were Zimran, Yakeshan, Medan, Midyan, Yishbak, and Shuah. Yakeshan’s sons were Sheva and Dedan. 33 Midyan’s sons were Eyfah, Efer, Hanok, Avida, and Elda’ah. All those were Keturah’s descendants.

34 Avraham had his son Yitshak (Isaac) by his wife Sarah, and Yitshak’s sons were Esav (Esau) and Ya’akov (Jacob) , whose name God later changed to Yisrael (Israel).

29 These generations_of_were_their the_firstborn_of Yishmāˊ^ʼēl/(Ishmael) was_Nəⱱāyōt and_Qēdār and_ʼAdbə^ʼēl and_Miⱱsām.

30 Mishmāˊ and_Dūmāh Massāʼ Hₐdad and_Tēymāʼ.

31 Yəţūr/(Jetur) Nāfīsh and_Qədəmāh these they were_the_sons_of Yishmāˊ^ʼēl/(Ishmael).

32 And_the_sons of_Qəţūrāh the_concubine_of ʼAⱱrāhām she_bore DOM Zimrān and_Yoqshān/(Jokshan) and_Mədān and_Midyān and_Yishbāq/(Ishbak) and_Shuah and_the_sons of_Yoqshān were_Shəⱱāʼ and_Dədān.

33 And_the_sons of_Midyān were_ˊĒyfāh and_ˊĒfer and_Ḩₐnōk/(Enoch) and_ʼAⱱīdāˊ and_ʼEldāˊāh all_of these were_the_sons_of Qəţūrāh.

34 And_ ʼAⱱrāhām _he/it_fathered DOM Yiʦḩāq the_sons_of Yiʦḩāq were_ˊĒsāv and_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
