17 And_Bənāyāh the_son_of Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) was_over the_Kərētī and_the_Fəlētī and_the_sons of_Dāvid the_chief_officials at_side_of the_king’s.
19 and_he/it_was after thus and_ Nāḩāsh _he/it_died the_king_of the_people_of ˊAmmōn his/its_son and_became_king in_place_his.
2 And_ Dāvid _he/it_said I_will_do covenant_loyalty with Ḩānūn the_son_of Nāḩāsh if/because his/its_father he_did to_me covenant_loyalty and_ Dāvid _sent messengers to_console_him on his/its_father and_ the_servants_of _they_came of_Dāvid into the_land_of the_people_of ˊAmmōn to Ḩānūn to_console_him.

7 And_hired to/for_them two and_thirty thousand chariot[s] and_DOM the_king_of Maˊₐkāh and_DOM army_of_his and_they_came and_camped to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Mēydəⱱāʼ and_the_sons of_ˊAmmōn they_gathered from_cities_of_their and_they_came to_the_battle.
8 and_ Dāvid _he/it_listened and_sent DOM Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and_DOM all_of the_army the_mighty.
9 And_ the_people_of _they_went_out of_ˊAmmōn and_drew_up battle the_entrance_of the_city and_the_kings who they_had_come by_themselves_of in/on/at/with_field.
10 And_ Yōʼāⱱ _he/it_saw if/because_that it_was the_face_of the_battle to_him/it before and_rear and_chose from_all chosen_man in/on/at/with_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_arrayed to_against ʼArām.

7 And_taunted DOM Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_killed_him Yōnātān/(Jonathan) the_son_of Shimea the_brother_of Dāvid.

8 And_he/it_was to_me the_word_of YHWH to_say blood to_increase_in_number you_have_shed and_wars great you_have_made not you_will_build a_house for_name_of_my if/because blood(s) much you_have_shed towards_land in_sight_of_me.
9 Here a_son is_about_to_be_born to/for_you(fs) he he_will_be a_man_of rest and_give_rest to_him/it from_all enemies_of_his on_every_side if/because Shəlomoh it_will_be his/its_name and_peace and_quiet I_will_give to Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_days_of_his.
10 He he_will_build a_house for_name_of_my and_he he_will_become to/for_me as_son and_I to_him/it as_father and_establish the_throne_of his/its_kingdom over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) until perpetuity.
11 Now son_of_my may_he_be YHWH with_you and_succeed and_build the_house_of YHWH god_of_your just_as he_spoke concerning_you.
