6:11 The teaching of Paul to Timothy

11But you, Timothy, as a godly person, flee from those things and instead pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. 12Fight the good fight of the faith in order to take hold of the eternal life which you were called to when you confessed wanting to follow Yeshua in front of many witnesses. 13I am commanding you in front of God who gave life to everything, and in front of Yeshua the messiah who testified the good confession to Pontius Pilate,[ref] 14to obey that command faultlessly until the return of our master Yeshua the messiah. 15He will be revealed in his own time—the blessed and only God, the king over all rulers and the master over all masters, 16the only immortal one who lives in unapproachable brightness which no person has ever seen or is capable of looking at. He will be honoured for his eternal power. May it be so.

17Command those who are rich in this present age to not be proud and not to put their hope in uncertain wealth, but in God who richly blesses us with all that we need to be happy. 18They should live out goodness, doing good deeds, helping others and being generous, 19thus they will be building themselves a good foundation for the coming age so that they may experience true life.

20So Timothy, guard what has been invested in you. Avoid useless and godless babbling and what others call knowledge but which opposes the true message 21and which some who were believers have turned away to.

May God’s grace be with you all there.

11But you, Oh person of_god, be_fleeing these things, but be_pursuing righteousness, devoutness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
12Be_fighting the good fight of_the faith, take_hold of_the eternal life, to which you_were_called and you_confessed the good confession before many witnesses.
13I_am_commanding to_you before the god, the one giving_life_to the_ all _things, and chosen_one/messiah Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), the one having_testified the good confession before Pontios Pilatos, 14you to_keep the command spotless irreproachable, until the appearing of_the master of_us, Yaʸsous chosen_one/messiah, 15which in_ ^his_own _seasons the blessed and only Sovereign will_be_showing, the king of_the ones reigning, and the_master of_the ones mastering, 16who alone having immortality, dwelling in_light unapproachable, whom not_one of_the_people saw, nor is_able to_see, to_whom be honour and eternal dominion.
Truly.
17To_the rich in the present age, be_commanding not to_be_highfaluting, nor to_have_hoped in the_uncertainty of_riches, but in god, which bringing_about us all things richly for enjoyment, 18to_be_working_good, to_be_being_rich in good works, to_be well_imparting, generous, 19storing_away for_themselves a_ good _foundation for the_ coming _time, in_order_that they_may_take_hold of_the really life.
20Oh Timotheos, guard the deposit, turning_away the profane empty_babblings and oppositions of_the falsely_called knowledge, 21which some professing concerning the faith deviated.
The grace be with you_all.
