2. Simeonite who was the son of Hammuel and the father of Shimei (1 Chr 4:26).

3. One of the descendants of Merari in the record of the divisions of the priests (1 Chr 24:27).

4. One of the sons of Asaph who was assigned responsibility for the temple service (1 Chr 25:2). Zaccur and his sons and brothers were assigned the third lot among the various duties for the temple musicians (1 Chr 25:10). Descendants of Zaccur were present at the dedication of the city wall following the exile (Neh 12:35).
