10 and _ I _ perceived if/because _ thatthe _ portions_ ofthe _ Lēviyyiynot it _ had_ been_ givenand _ they _ had_ fledeach to _ his _ own_ of_ field the _ Lēviyyiy and _ the _ singers who _ did_ of(of) _ the_ work .
11 And _ I _ contended with the _ officials and _ I _ said why the _ house_ ofhas _ it_ been_ neglectedthe _ ʼElohīm and _ I _ assembled _ them[fn ] and _ I _ made _ them_ standat place _ of_ their .
12 And _ all Yə hūdāh/(Judah) they _ broughtthe _ tithe_ ofthe _ grainand _ the _ new_ wine and _ the _ fresh_ oil to _ storerooms .
13 And _ I _ appointed _ as_ treasurersover the _ storeroomsShelemyāh the _ priest/officer and _ Tsādōq/(Zadok) the _ scribe and _ Pə dāyāh one _ ofthe _ Lēviyyiy and _ was _ on hand _ of_ their Ḩānān the _ son_ ofZakkūr the _ son_ ofMattanyāh if/because reliable they _ were_ thoughtand _ was _ on _ them to _ distribute to _ their _ of_ brothers .
14 remember to/for _ me my _ god_ of_ Oh on this and _ do _ notwipe _ outloyalti(es) _ of_ my which I _ have_ donein _ house _ ofmy _ god_ of_ of and _ in _ its _ of_ services .
15 In _ the_ days (the) _ those I _ sawin _ Yə hūdāh those _ who_ trodwinepresses [fn ] on _ sabbath and _ those _ who_ brought(the) _ heaps and _ those _ who_ loaded_ them on (the) _ donkeys and _ also wine grapes and _ figs and _ all load and _ those _ who_ brought_ them Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) in/on _ day of _ the _ sabbathand _ I _ protestedin/on _ day they _ sold food .
16 And _ the _ Tsorī/(Tyrians) who _ they_ dweltin _ it were _ bringingfish and _ all merchandise and _ they _ were _ selling_ on _ sabbath to _ the _ people_ ofYə hūdāh and _ in _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
17 And _ I _ contended with the _ nobles_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ I _ said to/for _ them what is _ the_ thing (the) _ evil the _ this which you(pl) are _ doingand _ you(pl) _ are_ profaningDOM the _ day_ ofthe _ sabbath18 Am _ not thus did _ they_ doancestors _ of_ your(pl) god _ of_ our and _ he/it _ broughton _ us DOM all _ ofthe _ trouble (the) _ this and _ on the _ city (the) _ this and _ you(pl) are _ increasinganger toward Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) by _ profaning DOM the _ sabbath .

22 and _ I _ said to _ Lēviyyiy (cmp) they _ will_ bepurifying _ themselvesand _ coming guarding the _ gates to _ keep _ holyDOM the _ day_ ofthe _ sabbathalso this remember to/for _ me my _ god_ of_ Oh and _ have _ mercy on _ me according _ to _ the_ greatness_ ofyour _ covenant_ loyalty_ of_ of .
23 also in _ the_ days the _ those I _ sawDOM the _ Yə hūdī/(Jews) who _ they_ had_ marriedwomen Ashdodite [fn ] [fn ] ˊAmmōnī [fn ] [fn ] Mōʼāⱱite .
24 And _ their _ of_ children half was _ speakingAshdodite and _ not _ they were _ knowingto _ Yə hūdī/(Judean) _ speak and _ according _ to _ the _ language_ ofpeople and _ people .
25 And _ I _ contendedwith _ them and _ I _ cursed _ themand _ I _ struckfrom _ them men and _ I _ pulled _ out_ their_ beardand _ I _ made _ them_ take_ an_ oathby _ god if you(pl) _ will_ givedaughters _ of_ your(pl) to _ their _ of_ sons and _ if you(pl) _ will_ takeany _ of _ their _ daughtersfor _ your(pl) _ of_ sons and _ for _ yourselves .
26 Am _ not on these did _ he_ sinShə lomoh/(Solomon) the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ among _ nations (the) _ many not he _ wasa _ kinglike _ him and _ loved by _ his _ of_ god he _ wasand _ he _ made _ himgod king over all _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) also him they _ caused_ to_ sinthe _ wives (the) _ foreign .
27 And _ to _ you(pl) will _ we _ listento _ do DOM all _ ofthe _ evil (the) _ great (the) _ this to _ act _ unfaithfullyagainst _ our _ of_ god by _ marrying wives foreign .
28 And _ one _ of _ the_ sons_ ofYōyādāˊ/(Joiada) the _ son_ ofʼElyāshiyⱱ the _ priest/officer (the) _ great was _ a_ son-in-lawof _ Şanⱱallaţ the _ Horonite and _ I _ drove _ him_ awayfrom _ with _ me .
29 Remember to/for _ them my _ god_ of_ Oh on the _ defilement(s)_ ofthe _ priesthoodand _ the _ covenant_ ofthe _ priesthoodand _ the _ Lēviyyiy .
30 And _ I _ purified _ themfrom _ all foreignness and _ I _ assigned duties to _ priests and _ to _ Lēviyyiy each in _ his _ own_ of_ work .
31 And _ for _ the _ offering_ ofthe _ wood(s)at _ times appointed and _ for _ first-fruits [fn ] remember to/for _ me my _ god_ of_ Oh for _ good .
