5:31 Teaching about divorce

(Mat. 19:9, Mark 10:11-12, Luke 16:18)

31[ref]It’s said that any man can divorce his wife just by sending her away. 32[ref]But I’m telling you all that anyone who sends his wife away, except in the case where she’s committed sexual immorality, is causing her to commit adultery, and anyone who marries a wife that’s been sent away, is causing her to be committing adultery.

9[ref]Now I’m telling you that anyone who sends away his wife because of sexual immorality and then remarries, is also causing adultery. Also the woman who was sent away if she remarries, she causes adultery.

11[ref]And Yeshua told them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another person, commits adultery towards his wife.12And likewise if the wife divorces her husband and marries another person, she is committing adultery towards her husband.

18[ref]Every man who dismisses his wife and marries another is committing adultery, and the one marrying the woman he dismissed is committing adultery.
