23 Then the Yaʸsous spoke to _the crowds and to _the apprentices/followers of _him 2 saying:
The scribes and the Farisaios_party sat _down on the seat of _Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh).
3 Therefore all things as _much _as wishfully they _may _tell to _you _all, do and be _keeping, but be_ not _doing according _to the works of _them, because/for they _are _speaking and they _are_ not _doing.
4 And they _are _binding heavy and unbearable burdens, and they _are _laying_ them _on on the shoulders of_ the _people, but they are_ not _willing to _move them with _the finger of _them.
5 But all the works of _them, they _are _doing in _order that to _be _seen by _the people.
For/Because they _are _widening the phylacteries of _them and they _are _magnifying their tassels.
6 And they _are _loving the best _place at the suppers, and the best _seats in the synagogues, 7 and the greetings in the marketplaces, and to _be _being _called My _great_one by the people.
8 But you _all may_ not _be _called My _great_one, because/for one is the instructor of _you _all, and you _all are all brothers.
9 And you _all _may_ not _call of _you on the earth father, because/for one is the the heavenly father of _you _all.
10 Nor may _you _all _be _called instructors, because one is the_instructor of _you _all, the chosen _one /messiah.
11 And the greater of _you _all will _be servant of _you _all.
12 And whoever will _be _exalting himself, will _be _being _humbled, and whoever will _be _humbling himself, will _be _being _exalted.
13 But woe to _you _all, scribes and Farisaios_party, hypocrites.
Because you _all _are _shutting the kingdom of _the heavens before the people, because/for you _all are_ neither _coming _in, nor are _you _all _allowing the ones coming _in to _come _in.
14  15 Woe to _you _all, scribes and Farisaios_party, hypocrites.
Because you _all _are _going _around the sea and the dry land to _make one convert, and whenever he _may _become, you _all _are _making him a_son of _geenna twice _more than you _all.
16 Woe to _you _all, blind guides, you _all saying:
Whoever wishfully may _swear by the temple, it _is nothing, but whoever wishfully may _swear by the gold of _the temple is _owing.
17 Foolish and blind.
For/Because which is greater, the gold or the temple which having _sanctified the gold?
18 And:
Whoever wishfully may _swear by the altar, it _is nothing, but whoever wishfully may _swear by the gift which on it is _owing.
19 Foolish and blind.
For/Because which greater, the gift, or the altar which sanctifying the gift?
20 Therefore the one having _swore by the altar, is _swearing by it and by all the things on it.
21 And the one having _swore by the temple, is _swearing by it and by the one dwelling _in it.
22 And the one having _swore by the heaven, is _swearing by the throne of_ the _god and by the one sitting on it.
23 Woe to _you _all, scribes and Farisaios_party, hypocrites.
Because you _all _are _tithing the mint and the dill and the cummin, and you _all _left the heavier of _the law:
the justice and the mercy and the faith.
But it _was _fitting to _do these things, and _those not to _leave.
24 Blind guides.
You _all straining _out the gnat and swallowing _up the camel.
25 Woe to _you _all, scribes and Farisaios_party, hypocrites.
Because you _all _are _cleansing the part outside of _the cup and of _the dish, but inside they _are _being _full of theft and intemperance.
26 Blind Farisaios_party _member.
Cleanse first the part inside of _the cup and of _the dish, in _order _that the part outside of _them may_ also _become clean.
27 Woe to _you _all, scribes and Farisaios_party, hypocrites.
Because you _all _are _being _like to _tombs having _been _whitewashed, which on _one _hand are _appearing beautiful outwardly, on _the _other _hand inside they _are _being _full of _bones of_the_dead and of _all impurity.
28 Thus also on _one _hand you _all are _being _seen righteous outwardly by _the people, on _the _other _hand inside you _all _are full of _hypocrisy and lawlessness.
29 Woe to _you _all, scribes and Farisaios_party, hypocrites.
Because you _all _are _building the tombs of _the prophets, and you _all _are _adorning the tombs of _the righteous 30 and you _all _are _saying:
If we _were in the days of _the fathers of _us, we_ would not _were partners with _them in the blood of _the prophets.
31 So _then you _all _are _testifying to _yourselves that you _all _are sons of _the ones having _murdered the prophets.
32 Also you _all fill the measure of _the fathers of _you _all.
33 Serpents, brood of _vipers, how may _you _all _escape from the judgment of_ the _geenna?
34 Because _of this, see, I am _sending _out prophets and wise ones, and scribes to you _all.
You _all _will _be _killing _off and you _all _will _be _executing _on _a _stake of them, and you _all _will _be _flogging of them in the synagogues of _you _all, and you _all _will _be _persecuting from city to city, 35 so _that all righteous blood being _poured _out on the earth may _come on you _all, from the blood of _Abel/(Heⱱel) the righteous, to the blood of _Zaⱪarias son of _Baraⱪias/(Berekə^yāh), whom you _all _murdered between the temple and the altar.
36 Truly, I _am _saying to _you _all, all these things will _be _coming on the this generation.
37 Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim), Hierousalaʸm, the city killing _off the prophets and throwing _stones the ones having _been _sent _out to her.
How _often I _wanted to _gather _together the children of _you, which manner a_hen is _gathering _together the chicks of _her under her wings, and you _all_ not _willed.
38 Behold, the house of _you _all is _being _left desolate to _you _all.
39 For/Because I _am _saying to _you _all, by _no _means you _all _may_ not _see me from now until wishfully you _all _may _say:
The one coming in name of_the_master having _been _blessed.
