28:11 Sailing from Malta to Rome

11After three months we were able to leave on an Alexandrian ship that had wintered at the island. It was decorated with carvings of the twin ‘gods’. 12We stayed three days when we arrived at Syracuse 13and then we sailed on to Rhegium. The next day a south wind came so we sailed on to Puteoli 14where we found some believers and they encouraged us to stay for seven days. Then we finally got to Rome. 15The believers in Rome had heard about us, so they came to meet us at the Appius Market and the Three Taverns. Paul was encouraged to see them and thanked God.

11And after three months, we_were_launched in a_ship having_wintered in the island, an_from_Alexandria with_a_figurehead to_Zeus_twins.
12And having_been_set_down at Surakousai, we_remained_on three days, 13whence having_cut_away, we_arrived at Ɽaʸgion.
And after one day, having_come_on a_south_wind, the_second day we_came to Potioloi,
14where having_found the_brothers, we_were_implored by them to_remain_on seven days.
And thus we_came to the Ɽōmaʸ.
15And_from_there the brothers having_heard, the things concerning us, came to meeting with_us until Appios Market and Three Taverns, whom the Paulos having_seen, having_giving_thanks to_ the _god, took courage.
