5:25 The exile of the eastern tribes
25 But they disobeyed the God of their ancestors, and they prostituted themselves to the gods of the peoples that God had destroyed ahead of them in that region. 26 So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of the Assyrian King Pul (also known as Tilgath-Pileser).
