1 Now King David had become very old, and he couldn’t keep warm even when covered with blankets, 2 so his servants suggested, “Allow us search for a young woman who can wait on you and take care of your needs. She can sleep beside you and keep our master, the king, warm.” 3 So they searched throughout Yisrael and found a beautiful young woman called Avishag (a Shunammite) and brought her to the king. 4 She was incredibly beautiful and she took care of the king, but he didn’t have sexual relations with her.

1 And_the_king Dāvid he _was _old he _had _come in _the_days and_they_covered _him with_clothes and_not it _was _warm to_him/it.
2 And_they _said to_him/it servants _of_his let _people _seek for_my _of_master the_king a _young _woman a _virgin and_she _will _stand to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before the_king and_let _her _be to_him/it a _nurse and_she _will _lie in_your _of_bosom and_it _will _be _warm to_my _of_master the_king.
3 And_they _sought a _young _woman beautiful in_all _of the _territory _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_they _found DOM ʼAⱱīshag the_Shūnammit and_they _brought DOM_her/it to_king.
4 And_the _young_woman was_beautiful up _to muchness and_it _became to/for_the _king a _nurse and_she_served _him and_the_king not he_knew _her.
