5 And _ ʼAdoniyyāh the _ son_ ofḨaggit [was] _ exalting_ himselfto _ say I I _ will_ become_ kingand _ he/it _ madeto _ him/it a _ chariotand _ horsemen and _ fifty man [were] _ runningto/for _ ahead _ of_ him .
6 And _ not displeased _ him his/its _ father at _ time _ of_ him to _ say why thus have _ you_ doneand _ also he [was] _ good_ ofform very and _ DOM _ he someone _ boreafter ʼAⱱīshālōm .
7 words _ of_ he And _ they _ werewith Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) the _ son_ ofTsə rūyāh /(Zeruiah) and _ with ʼEⱱyātār the _ priest/officer and _ supported after ʼAdoniyyāh .
8 And _ Tsādōq/(Zadok) the _ priest/officer and _ Bə nāyāh the _ son_ ofYə hōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) and _ Nātān the _ prophet and _ Shimˊī and _ Rēˊī and _ the _ mighty who belonged _ to_ Dāvid not they _ werewith ʼAdoniyyāh .
9 And _ ʼAdoniyyāh _ he/it _ sacrificedsheep and _ oxen and _ fattened _ cattlenear the _ stone_ of(the) which [was] _ besideEn Rogel and _ he/it _ calledDOM all _ ofbrothers _ of_ his the _ sons_ ofthe _ king and _ to/for _ all the _ men_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) the _ servants_ ofthe _ royal .
10 And _ DOM Nātān the _ prophet and _ Bə nāyāh and _ DOM the _ mighty and _ DOM Shə lomoh his/its _ woman not he _ invited11 And _ Nātān _ he/it _ saidto Bath- sheba the _ mother_ ofShə lomoh to _ say am _ not have _ you_ heardif/because _ thathe _ has_ become_ kingʼAdoniyyāh the _ son_ ofḨaggit and _ master _ of_ our Dāvid not he _ knows12 And _ now come give _ advice_ you please counsel and _ save DOM life _ of_ your and _ DOM the _ life_ ofson _ of_ your Shə lomoh .

18 And _ now here ʼAdoniyyāh he _ has_ become_ kingand _ now my _ master the _ king not you _ know19 And _ he/it _ sacrificedox[en] and _ fattened _ cattleand _ sheep to _ increase _ in_ numberand _ he/it _ calledto/from _ all/each/any/every the _ sons_ ofthe _ king and _ to _ ʼEⱱyātār the _ priest/officer and _ to _ Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) the _ commander_ ofthe _ army and _ to _ Shə lomoh servant _ of_ your not he _ has_ invited20 And _ you(ms) my _ master the _ king the _ eyes_ ofall _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) on _ you to _ announce to/for _ them who will _ he_ siton the _ throne_ ofmy _ master the _ king after _ him .

24 And _ Nātān _ he/it _ saidmy _ master the _ king you have _ you_ saidʼAdoniyyāh he _ will_ reignafter _ me and _ he he _ will_ siton throne _ of_ my .
25 If/because he _ has_ gone_ downthe _ day and _ he/it _ sacrificedox[en] and _ fattened _ cattleand _ sheep to _ increase _ in_ numberand _ he/it _ calledto/from _ all/each/any/every the _ sons_ ofthe _ king and _ to _ commanders _ ofthe _ army and _ to _ ʼEⱱyātār the _ priest/officer and _ see _ they [are] _ eatingand _ drinking in _ presence _ of_ him and _ they _ saidmay _ he_ livethe _ king ʼAdoniyyāh .
26 And _ to _ me I servant _ of_ your and _ to _ Tsādōq/(Zadok) the _ priest/officer and _ to _ Bə nāyāh the _ son_ ofYə hōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) and _ to _ Shə lomoh servant _ of_ your not he _ has_ invited27 (if) from my _ master the _ king has _ it_ occurredthe _ thing the _ this and _ not you _ made_ knownDOM servants _ of_ your [fn ] who will _ he_ siton the _ throne_ ofmy _ master the _ king after _ him .
28 and _ answered the _ king Dāvid and _ he/it _ saidsummon to _ me to _ Bath- sheba and _ came to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ king and _ stood to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ king .
29 And _ swore the _ king and _ said [by] _ the_ lifeof _ YHWH who he _ has_ ransomedDOM life _ of_ my from _ all trouble .
30 If/because just _ as I _ sworeto/for _ you(fs) in/on/at/with _ LORD the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to _ say if/because Shə lomoh son _ of_ your he _ will_ reignafter _ me and _ he he _ will_ siton throne _ of_ my in _ place_ my if/because so I _ will_ dothe _ day the _ this .
31 And _ Bath- _ bowed sheba face ground and _ did _ obeisanceto/for _ the _ kingand _ she/it _ saidmy _ master may _ he_ livethe _ king Dāvid to _ vanishing _ point32 and _ he/it _ saidthe _ king Dāvid summon to _ me to _ Tsādōq/(Zadok) the _ priest/officer and _ to _ Nātān the _ prophet and _ to _ Bə nāyāh the _ son_ ofYə hōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) and _ they _ cameto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ king .
33 And _ he/it _ saidthe _ king to/for _ them take with _ you _ allDOM the _ servants_ ofmaster _ of_ your _ all’sand _ ride DOM Shə lomoh son _ of_ my on the _ mule which to _ me and _ bring _ downDOM _ him/it to Gihon .
34 And _ anoint DOM _ him/it there Tsādōq the _ priest/officer and _ Nātān the _ prophet as _ king over Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ blow in/on/at/with _ trumpet and _ say may _ he_ livethe _ king Shə lomoh .
35 And _ go _ upafter _ him and _ come and _ sit on throne _ of_ my and _ he he _ will_ reignin _ place_ my and _ DOM _ him I _ have_ appointedto _ be ruler over Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ over Yə hūdāh/(Judah) .
36 And _ Bə nāyāh _ answered the _ son_ ofYə hōyādāˊ DOM the _ king and _ he/it _ saidamen thus YHWH may _ he_ saythe _ god_ ofmy _ master the _ king .
37 Just _ as he _ has_ beenYHWH with my _ master the _ king so he _ will_ be[fn ] with Shə lomoh and _ greater DOM throne _ of_ his than _ throne _ ofmy _ master the _ king Dāvid .
38 And _ Tsādōq _ he/it _ descendedthe _ priest/officer and _ Nātān the _ prophet and _ Bə nāyāh the _ son_ ofYə hōyādāˊ and _ the _ Kə rētī and _ the _ Fə lētī and _ ride DOM Shə lomoh on the _ mule_ ofthe _ king Dāvid and _ brought DOM _ him/it to Gihon .
39 And _ Tsādōq/(Zadok) _ he/it _ tookthe _ priest/officer DOM the _ horn_ ofthe _ oil from the _ tent and _ anointed DOM Shə lomoh and _ blew in/on/at/with _ trumpet and _ all _ of_ they _ saidthe _ people may _ he_ livethe _ king Shə lomoh .
40 And _ all _ of_ went _ upthe _ people after _ him and _ the _ people [were] _ playing_ the_ flutein/on/at/with _ flutes and _ rejoicing joy great and _ shook the _ earth/land in/on/at/with _ noise _ of_ their .
41 And _ ʼAdoniyyāh _ he/it _ listenedand _ all the _ guests who with _ him/it and _ they they _ had_ finishedto _ eating and _ Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) _ he/it _ listenedDOM the _ sound_ ofthe _ trumpet and _ he/it _ saidwhy [is] _ the_ sound_ ofthe _ city in _ an_ uproar42 Still _ he [was] _ speakingand _ see/lo/see Yōnātān/(Jonathan) the _ son_ ofʼEⱱyātār the _ priest/officer he _ cameand _ ʼAdoniyyāh _ he/it _ saidcome if/because [are] _ a_ man_ ofability you and _ good you _ bear_ news43 And _ Yōnātān _ answered and _ he/it _ saidto _ ʼAdoniyyāh but master _ of_ our the _ king Dāvid he _ has_ made_ kingDOM Shə lomoh .
44 And _ sent with _ him/it the _ king DOM Tsādōq the _ priest/officer and _ DOM Nātān the _ prophet and _ Bə nāyāh the _ son_ ofYə hōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) and _ the _ Kə rētī and _ the _ Fə lētī and _ ride DOM _ him/it on the _ mule_ ofthe _ king’s .
45 And _ anointed Tsādōq/(Zadok) DOM _ him/it the _ priest/officer and _ Nātān the _ prophet as _ king in/on/at/with _ Gihon and _ gone _ upfrom _ there joyful and _ in _ an_ uproarthe _ city that the _ noise which you _ all_ have_ heard46 And _ also Shə lomoh he _ has_ saton the _ throne_ ofthe _ royalty .
47 And _ also the _ servants_ ofthey _ have_ comethe _ king to _ congratulate DOM master _ of_ our the _ king Dāvid to _ say may _ he_ make_ goodmmm [fn ] DOM the _ name_ ofShə lomoh more _ than_ name _ of_ your and _ greater DOM throne _ of_ his than _ throne _ of_ your and _ bowed _ in_ worshipthe _ king on the _ bed .
48 And _ also thus he _ has_ saidthe _ king YHWH [be] _ blessedthe _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) who he _ has_ giventhe _ day [one _ who]_ sitson throne _ of_ my and _ eyes _ of_ my [are] _ seeing49 And _ trembling and _ all _ of_ got _ upthe _ guests who of _ ʼAdoniyyāh and _ went each on _ way _ of_ his .
50 And _ ʼAdoniyyāh he _ was_ afraidfrom _ face/in _ front_ ofShə lomoh and _ he/it _ rose_ upand _ he/it _ wentand _ took _ holdin/on/at/with _ horns _ ofthe _ altar .
51 And _ told to _ Shə lomoh to _ say there ʼAdoniyyāh he _ fearsDOM the _ king Shə lomoh and _ see/lo/see he _ has_ taken_ holdin/on/at/with _ horns _ ofthe _ altar to _ say let _ him_ swearto _ me as _ the_ day the _ king Shə lomoh if he _ will_ put_ to_ deathDOM servant _ of_ his in/on/at/with _ sword .
52 And _ Shə lomoh _ he/it _ saidif he _ will_ becomeas _ man _ ofability not it _ will_ fallof _ hair _ of_ his ground _ to and _ if evil it _ will_ be_ foundin _ him/it and _ die .
53 And _ sent the _ king Shə lomoh and _ brought _ down_ him from _ under the _ altar and _ came and _ paid _ homageto/for _ the _ kingShə lomoh and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it Shə lomoh go to _ home _ of_ your .
