COPPERSMITH

One who worked in copper and fashioned bronze and copper tools, implements, and ornaments (Ex 26:11, 37; 27:2-10; Jos 6:19, 24; 1 Sm 17:5-6; 2 Sm 8:8). Only in the NT (2 Tm 4:14) is the term “coppersmith” used; however, the occupation was important throughout Bible history.
