This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.

12:1 The kings defeated by Mosheh

12These are the kings in the region who the Israelis defeated on the eastern side of the Yordan river and took possession of their land from the Arnon riverbed in the south to Mt. Hermon in the north, including all of the eastern rift valley plains:[ref] 2King Sihon of the Amorites who lived in Heshbon and ruled over Aroer (on the edge of the Arnon riverbed) and over half of Gilead up to the Yabbok riverbed which formed the border with the Ammonites, 3as well as the eastern rift valley plains down to Lake Galilee and to the Sea of Arabah (also called the Dead Sea or the Salt Sea), the road to Beyt-Yeshimot and the area southward below the slopes of Mt. Pisgah.

4The Israelis also defeated King Og from Bashan, one of the few remaining Refa’ites, who lived in Ashtarot and at Edrei, 5and ruled over Mt. Hermon, Salekah, all of Bashan to the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, as well as half of Gilead to the border with King Sihon from Heshbon.

6Yahweh’s servant Mosheh and the Israelis had defeated them and Mosheh had given that region as a possession to the descendants of Reuben and Gad and to the half-tribe of Menashsheh.[ref]
