13:22 War between Israel and Aram/Syria

22 Aram’s King Haza’el oppressed Israel all through Yehoahaz’s reign, 23 but Yahweh showed favour to the Israelis and felt compassionate towards them. Because of his agreement with Abraham, Yitshak, and Yacob, he didn’t want to destroy them, and he hasn’t tossed them out even to this day.

24 When Aram’s King Haza’el died, his son Ben-Hadad replaced him as king. 25 Then Yehoahaz’s son Yehoash attacked Aram three times, and he took back the cities from Haza’el’s son Ben-Hadad that had been taken in the war in his father Yehoahaz’s time.

22 and_Ḩₐzā^ʼēl the _king _of ʼArām he _had _oppressed DOM Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) all _of the _days _of Yəhōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz).
23 And_ YHWH _gracious DOM_them and_had _compassion _on_them and_turned toward_them on _account _of covenant _of_his with ʼAⱱrāhām Yiʦḩāq/(Isaac) and_Yaˊₐqoⱱ/(Jacob) and_not he _was _willing destroy_them and_not throw_them from_under his/its_faces/face until now.
24 And_ Ḩₐzā^ʼēl _he/it _died the _king _of ʼArām and_ Ben _became _king Hₐdad his/its_son in _place_his.
25 And_ Yəhōʼāsh/(Jehoash) _again the _son _of Yəhōʼāḩāz and_he/it _took DOM the_cities from_hand _of Ben the _son _of Ḩₐzā^ʼēl which he _had _taken from_hand _of Yəhōʼāḩāz his/its_father in/on/at/with_war three times defeated_him Yōʼāsh/(Joash) and_recovered DOM the _cities _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
