13 in _ year twenty and _ three year of _ Yōʼāsh the _ son_ ofʼAḩazyāh the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) Yə hōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) he _ became_ kingthe _ son_ ofYēhūʼ/(Jehu) over Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) in _ Shomrōn seven- teen year[s] .
2 And _ he/it _ madethe _ evil in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH and _ he/it _ wentafter the _ sins_ ofYārāⱱə ˊām/(Jeroboam) the _ son_ ofNeⱱaţ which he _ caused_ to_ sinDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) not he _ turned_ asidefrom _ it .
3 And _ it _ glowed/burntthe _ angerof _ YHWH on _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he _ gave _ themin _ the _ hand_ ofzāʼēl the _ king_ ofʼArām and _ in _ the _ hand_ ofBen the _ son_ ofzāʼēl all _ ofthe _ days .
4 And _ Yə hōʼāḩāz _ he _ entreatedDOM the _ face_ ofYHWH and _ he/it _ listenedto _ him/it YHWH if/because he _ sawDOM the _ oppression_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) if/because _ thathe _ oppressedDOM _ them the _ king_ ofʼArām .
5 And _ YHWH _ he/it _ gaveto _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) a _ delivererand _ they _ went_ outfrom _ under the _ hand_ ofʼArām and _ the _ people_ of_ they _ livedof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)in _ their _ of_ tents as _ yesterday three _ days_ ago6 Nevertheless not they _ turned_ asidefrom _ the _ sins_ ofthe _ house_ ofYārāⱱə ˊām which he _ caused_ to_ sin[fn ] DOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) in _ it it _ walkedand _ also the _ ʼAshērāh_ pole it _ remainedin _ Shomrōn .
7 If/because not he _ leftto _ Yə hōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) a _ peopleif/because (if) fifty horsemen and _ ten chariot[s] and _ ten _ ofthousand(s) foot _ soldier[s]if/because he _ had _ destroyed_ themthe _ king_ ofʼArām and _ he _ had _ made_ themlike _ dust to _ trample .
8 And _ the _ rest_ ofthe _ matters_ ofYə hōʼāḩāz and _ all that he _ didand _ his _ of_ might am _ not are _ theywritten on the _ scroll_ ofthe _ matters_ ofthe _ days of _ the _ kings_ ofof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)9 And _ Yə hōʼāḩāz _ he _ lay_ downwith ancestors _ of_ his and _ people _ buried _ himin _ Shomrōn and _ Yōʼāsh/(Joash) _ he _ became_ kinghis/its _ son in _ place _ of_ him10 in _ year thirty and _ seven year of _ Yōʼāsh the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) Yə hōʼāsh/(Jehoash) he _ became_ kingthe _ son_ ofYə hōʼāḩāz over Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) in _ Shomrōn six- teen year[s] .

14 and _ ʼElīshāˊ he _ became_ sickDOM sickness _ of_ his which he _ will_ diein/on/over _ him/it and _ he/it _ descendedto _ him/it Yōʼāsh the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he _ wepton his/its _ faces/face and _ he _ saidmy _ father_ of_ Oh father _ of_ my the _ chariotry_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ its _ of_ horsemen .
15 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it ʼElīshāˊ take a _ bowand _ arrows and _ he/it _ tookto _ him/it a _ bowand _ arrows .
16 And _ he/it _ saidto _ the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) make _ ridehand _ of_ your on the _ bow and _ he _ made_ ridehis/its _ hand and _ ʼElīshāˊ _ he/it _ assignedhands _ of_ his on the _ hands_ ofthe _ king17 And _ he/it _ saidopen the _ window eastward and _ he _ opened_ and _ ʼElīshāˊ _ he/it _ saidshoot and _ he _ shotand _ he/it _ saidan _ arrow_ ofvictory to/for _ YHWH and _ an _ arrow_ ofvictory on _ ʼArām and _ you _ will_ defeatDOM ʼArām in _ ʼAfēq until make _ an_ end18 And _ he/it _ saidtake the _ arrows and _ he _ took_ them and _ he/it _ saidto _ the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) strike towards _ land and _ he _ struckthree times and _ he _ stopped19 And _ he _ was_ angryon/upon/above _ him/it the _ man_ ofthe _ ʼElohīm and _ he/it _ saidto _ strike five or six times then you _ have_ defeatedDOM ʼArām until make _ an_ endand _ now three times you _ will_ defeatDOM ʼArām .
20 and _ ʼElīshāˊ _ he/it _ diedand _ people _ buried _ himand _ the _ marauding_ bands_ ofMōʼāⱱ they _ camein/on _ the_ earth coming a _ year21 And _ he/it _ wasthey were _ buryinga _ manand _ see/lo/see they _ sawDOM (the) _ marauding_ band and _ they _ threwDOM the _ man in _ the _ grave_ ofʼElīshāˊ and _ he/it _ wentand _ he _ touchedthe _ man (in) _ the_ bones _ ofʼElīshāˊ and _ he/it _ livedand _ he/it _ rose_ upon feet _ of_ his .
22 and _ Ḩₐzāʼēl the _ king_ ofʼArām he _ had_ oppressedDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) all _ ofthe _ days_ ofYə hōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) .
23 And _ YHWH _ he _ showed_ favour_ toDOM _ them and _ he _ had _ compassion_ on_ themand _ he _ turnedto _ them on _ account_ ofcovenant _ of_ his with ʼAⱱrāhām Yiʦḩāq/(Isaac) and _ Yaˊₐqoⱱ/(Jacob) and _ not he _ was_ willingto _ destroy _ themand _ not he _ threw _ themfrom _ under his/its _ faces/face until now .
24 And _ Ḩₐzāʼēl _ he/it _ diedthe _ king_ ofʼArām and _ Ben _ he _ became_ kingdad his/its _ son in _ place _ of_ him25 And _ Yə hōʼāsh/(Jehoash) _ he _ returnedthe _ son_ ofYə hōʼāḩāz and _ he/it _ tookDOM the _ cities from _ the _ hand_ ofBen the _ son_ ofzāʼēl which he _ had_ takenfrom _ the _ hand_ ofYə hōʼāḩāz his/its _ father in _ battle three times he _ defeated _ himYōʼāsh/(Joash) and _ he _ restoredDOM the _ cities_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
