Only use of identical word form εἴασαν (V-IAA3··P) in the Greek originals

The word form ‘εἴασαν’ (V-IAA3··P) is always and only glossed as ‘they allowed’.

The various word forms of the root word (lemma) ‘eaō’ have 9 different glosses: ‘be allowing’, ‘having allowed’, ‘were allowing’, ‘will_be allowing’, ‘he was allowing’, ‘they were allowing them’, ‘they allowed’, ‘allowed’, ‘allowed him’.
