Don’t judge others

This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.

Readers’ Version

Literal Version

6:37 Don’t judge others

(Mat. 7:1-5)

37Don’t judge others, then you definitely won’t be judged. Don’t condemn others, then you definitely won’t be condemned. 38Give to others, and then you’ll be given to generously. The returned amount will be really packed in to the container and even overflowing, because however you measure things out for others, that’s how things will be measured out for you.

39[ref]Then Yeshua told them a parable: “Surely a blind person can’t be a guide for someone else who’s blind. Won’t both of them fall into a ditch? 40[ref]A trainee isn’t above their teacher, but can become like their teacher once they’re fully trained.

41How come you notice the speck in someone else’s eye, yet don’t even notice the log that’s in your own eye? 42How can you tell that person, ‘Hey, let me get that speck out of your eye,’ when you can’t even see the log in your eye? You hypocrite, get the log out of your eye and then you’ll be able to see clearly so you can remove the speck in the other person’s eye.

37And be_ not _judging, and by_no_means you_all _may_ not _be_judged.
And be_ not _convicting, and by_no_means you_all _may_ not _be_convicted.
Be_sending_away, and you_all_will_be_being_sent_away.
38Be_giving, and it_will_be_being_given to_you_all, good measure, having_been_pressed_down having_been_shaken being_overflowed, they_will_be_giving into the fold_of_garment of_you_all, because/for with_that measure you_all_are_measuring, it_will_be_being_measured_back to_you_all.
39And he_ also _spoke a_parable to_them:
Surely_not a_blind one is_able to_be_guiding a_blind one?
Will_ not _be_falling both into a_pit?
40A_apprentice/follower is not above the teacher, but everyone having_been_prepared will_be as the teacher of_him.
41And why are_you_looking at_the speck which in the eye of_the brother of_you, but you_are_ not _observing the beam which in your own eye?
42How are_you_being_able to_be_saying to_the brother of_you:
Brother, allow I_may_throw_out the speck which in the eye of_you, not seeing yourself the beam in the eye of_you?
Hypocrite, first throw_out the beam from the eye of_you, and then you_will_be_seeing_clearly to_throw_out the speck which in the eye of_the brother of_you.
