BETHPHAGE

Village on the Mt of Olives adjacent to Jerusalem. At Bethphage two disciples obtained the donkey colt on which Jesus rode into Jerusalem (Mt 21:1-6; Mk 11:1-6; Lk 19:29-35).

21 When they were getting close to Yerushalem (Jerusalem) and arrived at Beyt-Fagey (Bethphage) on the Mt. of Olives, Yeshua (Jesus; Grk. Yesus) sent two of his apprentices ahead,

2 telling them, “Go ahead to the next village, and in front of you you’ll see a donkey tied up, and her colt near her. Untie the donkey and bring them back here to me.

3 But if anyone says anything to you, just tell them that the master needs them, and they’ll let you take them.”

4 “All this is happening so that the message that was written by the prophet will come to pass:

5 ‘Tell the daughter of Tsiyon (Zion):
⇔ “Look, your king is coming,
⇔ gentle, and riding a donkey,
⇔ and a colt, a donkey’s offspring.” ’ ”

6 So the two apprentices left and did what Yeshua (Jesus; Grk. Yesus) had told them.

21 And when they _neared to Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim) and came to Baʸthfagaʸ to the Mount of_ the _Olives, then Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) sent _out two apprentices/followers

2 saying to _them:
Be _going into the village which in _front _of of _you _all, and immediately you _all _will _be _finding a_donkey having _been _bound and a_colt with her, having _untied them bring them to _me.

3 And if anyone may _say anything to _you _all, you _all _will _be _saying, that The master is _having need of _them, and immediately he _will _be _sending_ them _out.

5 Say to _the daughter of _Siōn/(Tsiyyōn):
Behold, the king of _you is _coming to _you, gentle and having _mounted on a_donkey and on a_colt, the_son of_a_donkey.

2 telling them, “Go on to the next village and as you enter it, you’ll see a young donkey that hasn’t ever been ridden yet. Untie it and bring it back here.

4 So they went ahead and found a donkey tied up on the path just outside the door of a house, and so they went to untie it.

5 But some of the people standing around there said, “Hoy! What do you think you’re doing untying that donkey?”

6 So they responded just as Yeshua had told them, and the people allowed them to proceed.

Be _going into the village which in _front _of you _all, and immediately entering _in into it, you _all _will _be _finding a_colt having _been _bound on which no _one of_the_people not _yet sat _down, untie it and be _bringing it.

3 And if anyone may _say to _you _all:
Why are _you _all _doing this?
Say, that The master is _having need of _it, and immediately he _is _sending_ it _out back here.

4 And they _went _away, and they _found the_colt having _been _bound at the door outside by the street, and they _are _untying it.

5 And some of _the ones having _stood there were _saying to _them:
What are _you _all _doing releasing the colt?

for_ Why _reason you _all _are _untying it?
Thus you _all _will _be _saying, that The master is _having need of _it.

32 And having _gone _away they having _been _sent _out found it as he _said to _them.

33 And of _them releasing the colt, the masters of _it said to them:
Why are _you _all _untying the colt?
