19 And having _ come_ in , he _ was_ passing_ through the Yeriⱪō .
2 And see , a _ man being _ called by _ the _ name Zakⱪaios , and he was a _ chief_ tax_ collector , and he was rich .
3 And he _ was_ seeking to _ see the who Yaʸsous is , and was _ not _ able because _ of the crowd , because he _ was the small in _ stature .
4 And having _ run_ ahead ahead , he _ went_ up in a _ sycamore_ tree , in _ order_ that he _ may_ see him , because he _ was_ going to _ be_ passing_ through of _ that way .
5 And as he _ came to the place , the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) having _ looked_ up , said to him :
Zakⱪaios , having _ hurried come _ down , because/for today it _ is_ fitting me to _ remain in the house of _ you .
6 And having _ hurried , he _ came_ down and welcomed him rejoicing .
7 And all having _ seen it , were _ grumbling saying , that He _ came_ in to _ lodge with a _ sinful man .
8 And Zakⱪaios having _ been_ stood , said to the master :
Behold , the half of _ the of _ me possessing , master , I _ am_ giving to _ the poor , and if I _ defrauded anything of _ anyone , I _ am_ giving_ back quadruple .
9 And the Yaʸsous said to him , that Today salvation this to _ the _ house became , as _ much_ as he also is a _ son of _ Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām) .
10 For/Because the son of _ the _ man came to _ seek and to _ save the having _ been_ lost .
11 And from _ them hearing these having _ proceeded , he _ said a _ parable because _ of that him to _ be near of _ Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) , and them to _ be_ supposing that the kingdom of _ the _ god is _ immediately _ going to _ be_ being_ appeared .
12 Therefore , he _ said , a _ certain noble _ man was _ gone to a _ country distant , to _ receive for _ himself a _ kingdom and to _ return .
13 And having _ called ten slaves of _ himself , he _ gave ten mnas _ of_ silver to _ them , and told to them :
To _ do_ business at the time I _ am_ coming .
14 But the citizens of _ him were _ hating him , and they _ sent_ out a _ delegation after him saying :
We _ are_ not _ willing this man to _ reign over us .
15 And it _ became on the way of _ him to _ return , having _ received the kingdom , and he _ said the these slaves to _ be_ called to _ him to _ whom he _ had_ given the silver , in _ order_ that he _ may_ know what they _ bartered .
16 And the first arrived saying :
Master , the mna _ of_ silver of _ you , additionally _ earned ten .
mnas _ of_ silver .
17 And he _ said to _ him :
Well done good slave .
Because you _ became faithful in least , be having authority over ten cities .
18 And the second came saying :
The mna _ of_ silver of _ you , master , made five mnas _ of_ silver .
19 And he _ said also to _ this :
Also you be _ becoming over five cities .
20 And the another came saying :
Master , see , the mna _ of_ silver of _ you , which I _ was_ having lying _ away in a _ handkerchief .
21 For/Because I _ was_ fearing you , because you _ are a _ austere _ man , you _ are_ taking_ up what you _ not _ laid , and you _ are_ reaping what you _ not _ sowed .
22 He _ is_ saying to _ him :
I _ will_ be_ judging you out _ of the mouth of _ you , evil slave .
You _ had_ known that I am a _ austere _ man , taking _ up what I _ not _ laid , and reaping what I _ not _ sowed ?
23 And for _ why _ reason you _ not _ gave the silver of _ me to the _ bank , and _ I having _ come , I _ collected wishfully it with interest ?
24 And to _ the having _ stood_ by he _ said :
Take _ away the mna _ of_ silver from him , and give it to _ the , having the ten mnas _ of_ silver .
25 And they _ said to _ him , master he _ is_ having Ten , mnas _ of_ silver already .
26 I _ am_ saying to _ you_ all that to _ everyone the having , will _ be_ being_ given , but from the not having , even what he _ is_ having will _ be_ being_ taken_ away .
27 However these the enemies of _ me , the not having _ wanted me to _ reign over them , bring here and strike _ them _ down before me .
28 And having _ said these he _ was_ going ahead going _ up to Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) .
29 And it _ became as he _ neared to Baʸthfagaʸ and Baʸthania , toward the mountain which being _ called of _ Olives , he _ sent_ out two of _ the apprentices/followers 30 saying :
Be _ going into the village ahead , in which entering _ in you _ all_ will_ be_ finding a _ colt having _ been_ bound , on which no _ one ever of _ people sat _ down , and having _ untied it , bring it .
31 And if anyone may _ be_ asking you _ all :
for _ Why _ reason you _ all_ are_ untying it ?
Thus you _ all_ will_ be_ saying , that The master is _ having need of _ it .
32 And having _ gone_ away they having _ been_ sent_ out found it as he _ said to _ them .
33 And of _ them releasing the colt , the masters of _ it said to them :
Why are _ you_ all_ untying the colt ?
34 And they said , that The master is _ having need of _ it .
35 And they _ led it to the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) , and having _ throw_ on the clothes of _ them on the colt , the they _ mounted_ Yaʸsous _ on _ it .
36 And of _ him going , they _ were_ spreading_ under the clothes of _ themselves on the road .
37 And of _ him nearing already at the down _ grade of _ the Mount of _ the _ Olives , all the multitude of _ the apprentices/followers began rejoicing to _ be_ praising the god with _ a _ loud _ voice for all the _ miracles which they _ saw 38 saying :
Having _ been_ blessed is the king the coming , in the _ name of _ the _ master , in heaven peace and glory in the _ highest .
39 And some of _ the Farisaios _ party from the crowd said to him :
Teacher , give _ rebuke to _ the apprentices/followers of _ you .
40 And answering he _ said :
I _ am_ saying to _ you_ all that if these will _ be_ keeping_ silent , the stones will _ be_ crying_ out .
41 And as he _ neared , having _ seen the city , he _ wept over it 42 saying , that If you _ knew in the this day , even you , the for peace , but now it _ was_ hidden from the _ eyes of _ you .
43 Because days will _ be_ coming on you , and the enemies of _ you will _ be_ throwing_ around a _ palisade to _ you , and they _ will_ be_ surrounding you and they _ will_ be_ pressing you on _ every_ side , 44 and they _ will_ be_ leveling you and the children of _ you with you , and they _ ˓will ˒_ not _ be_ leaving a _ stone on a _ stone with you , instead _ of which you _ not _ knew the season of _ the visitation of _ you .
45 And having _ come_ in into the temple , he _ began to _ be_ throwing_ out the selling , 46 saying to _ them :
It _ has_ been_ written :
The house of _ me will _ be a _ house of _ prayer , but you _ all made it a _ hideout of _ robbers .
47 And he _ was teaching which in _ every day in the temple , but the chief _ priests and the scribes and the leaders of _ the people were _ seeking , to _ destroy him , 48 and they _ were_ not _ finding which what they _ may_ do , because/for the all the _ people was _ hanging_ on hearing of _ him .
