31 and_he/it_spoke Yahweh to Mosheh to_saying.
2 Avenge the_vengeance of_the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) on the_Midyānites after you_will_be_gathered to people_your.
3 And_he/it_spoke Mosheh to the_people to_say be_equipped from_among_your_all’s men for_the_war and_go on Midyān to_execute the_vengeance of_Yahweh in/on/at/with_Midyān.
4 one_thousand from_the_tribe one_thousand from_the_tribe to_all/each/any/every the_tribes of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) you_all_will_send_out to_the_war.
5 And_conscripted from_thousands of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) one_thousand from_the_tribe two_plus ten thousand [men]_equipped of_war.
6 And_sent DOM_them Mosheh one_thousand from_the_tribe to_the_war DOM_them and_DOM Fīnəḩāş the_son of_ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer to_the_battle and_vessels the_sanctuary and_trumpets the_alarm in_his/its_hand.
7 And_fought on Midyān just_as he_had_commanded Yahweh DOM Mosheh and_killed every male.
8 And_DOM the_kings of_Midyān they_killed with slain_their DOM Evi and_DOM Rekem and_DOM Zur and_DOM Ḩūr and_DOM Reba the_five the_kings of_Midyān and_DOM Bilˊām the_son of_Bəˊōr they_killed in/on/at/with_sword.
9 And_took_captive the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM the_women of_Midyān and_DOM little_ones_their and_DOM all cattle_their and_DOM all flocks_their and_DOM all goods_their they_plundered.
10 And_DOM all cities_their in/on/at/with_where_lived_they and_DOM all camps_their they_burned in/on/at/with_fire.
11 And_they_took DOM all the_spoil and_DOM all the_plunder in/on/at/with_people and_on/over_cattle/livestock.
12 And_brought to Mosheh and_near/to ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer and_near/to the_congregation of_the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM the_captives and_DOM the_plunder and_DOM the_spoil to the_camp to the_plains of_Mōʼāⱱ which [were]_at the_Yarddēn of_Yərīḩō.

13 and_they_went_out Mosheh and_ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer and_all the_leaders the_community to_meet_them to from_outside of_the_camp.
14 And_angry Mosheh towards the_officers the_army the_commanders the_thousands and_commanders the_hundreds the_(ones_who)_went from_service the_war.
15 And_he/it_said to_them Mosheh the_let_live every female.
16 There they they_were to_sons of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_advice of_Bilˊām to_turning_away unfaithfulness in/on/at/with_LORD on the_matter of_Peor and_it_became the_plague in/on/at/with_congregation of_Yahweh.
17 And_now kill every male in/on/at/with_little_ones and_all woman [who_has]_known a_man by_sleeping_with of_a_male kill.
18 And_all/each/any/every the_young in/on/at/with_females who not they_have_known lying of_a_male preserve_alive for_yourselves.
19 And_you_all encamp from_outside of_the_camp seven days any [one_who_has]_killed anyone and_all/each/any/every [one_who_has]_touched in/on/at/with_slain you_will_purify_yourselves in_the_day the_third and_in/on/at/with_day the_seventh you_all and_captives_your_all’s.
20 And_all garment and_all article of_hide and_all product of_goat_hair(s) and_all article of_wood you_will_purify_yourselves.
21 and_he/it_said ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer to the_men the_battle the_(ones_who)_went to_the_battle this [is]_the_statute the_law which he_commanded Yahweh DOM Mosheh.
22 Only DOM the_gold and_DOM the_silver DOM the_bronze DOM the_iron DOM the_tin and_DOM the_lead.
23 Every thing which it_will_go in/on/at/with_fire you_all_will_make_pass in/on/at/with_fire and_clean nevertheless in/on/at/with_water of_impurity it_will_purify_itself and_all/each/any/every that not it_will_go in/on/at/with_fire you_all_will_make_pass in/on/at/with_water.
24 And_wash clothes_your_all’s in_the_day the_seventh and_clean and_after you_all_will_come to the_camp.

25 and_he/it_said Yahweh to Mosheh to_saying.
26 Lift_up DOM the_head of_the_booty the_captured in/on/at/with_people and_on/over_cattle/livestock you and_ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer and_heads of_the_fathers the_community.
27 And_divide DOM the_booty between [those]_skilled the_war the_went_out to_the_battle and_between all the_community.
28 And_set_aside a_tribute to/for_YHWH from the_men the_war the_went_out to_the_battle one person out_of_five the_hundred from the_humankind and_from the_cattle and_from the_donkeys and_from the_sheep.
29 From_half_their you_all_will_take_[it] and_you(ms)_will_give to_ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer the_contribution of_Yahweh.
30 And_from_half of_the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) you_will_take one [person]_drawn from the_fifty from the_humankind from the_cattle from the_donkeys and_from the_sheep from_all the_cattle/livestock and_you(ms)_will_give DOM_them to_the_Levites [who]_keep (of)_the_service of_the_tabernacle of_Yahweh.
31 And_he/it_made Mosheh and_ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer just_as he_had_commanded Yahweh DOM Mosheh.
32 And_he/it_was the_booty the_remainder the_spoil which they_had_plundered the_people the_battle sheep six hundred(s) thousand and_seventy thousand and_five_of thousand(s).
33 And_cattle two and_seventy thousand.
34 And_donkeys one and_sixty thousand.
35 And_life of_humankind from the_women who not they_had_known lying of_a_male every person two and_thirty thousand.
36 And_it_became the_half the_portion the_gone_out in/on/at/with_war the_number the_sheep [was]_three hundred(s) thousand and_thirty thousand and_seven_of thousand(s) and_five hundred(s).
37 And_he/it_was the_tribute to/for_YHWH from the_sheep six hundred(s) five and_seventy.
38 And_the_cattle [were]_six and_thirty thousand and_tribute_which to/for_YHWH [was]_two and_seventy.
39 And_donkeys [were]_thirty thousand and_five hundred(s) and_tribute_which to/for_YHWH [was]_one and_sixty.
40 And_people of_humankind [were]_six- teen thousand and_tribute_which to/for_YHWH [was]_two and_thirty person[s].
41 And_he/it_gave Mosheh DOM the_tribute of_the_contribution of_Yahweh to_ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer just_as he_had_commanded Yahweh DOM Mosheh.
42 And_from_half of_the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) which he_had_divided Mosheh from the_men the_fighting.
43 And_it_became the_half the_congregation’s from the_sheep three hundred(s) thousand and_thirty thousand seven thousand(s) and_five hundred(s).
44 And_cattle six and_thirty thousand.
45 And_donkeys thirty thousand and_five hundred(s).
46 And_people of_humankind six- teen thousand.
47 And_he/it_took Mosheh from_half of_the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM the_took one from the_fifty from the_humankind and_from the_cattle/livestock and_he/it_gave DOM_them to_the_Levites [who]_keep (of)_the_service of_the_tabernacle of_Yahweh just_as he_had_commanded Yahweh DOM Mosheh.
48 And_approached to Mosheh the_officers who over_thousands the_army the_commanders the_thousands and_commanders the_hundreds.
49 And_they_said to Mosheh your_servants they_have_lifted_up DOM the_head of_the_men the_war who in/on/at/with_command_our and_not he_is_missing from_him/it anyone.
50 And_brought DOM the_offering of_Yahweh everyone [that]_which he_found an_article of_gold an_armlet and_bracelets a_signet-ring an_earring and_necklaces to_make_atonement on selves_of_us to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yahweh.
51 And_he/it_took Mosheh and_ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer DOM the_gold from_with_them every article of_work.
52 And_he/it_was all the_gold the_contribution which they_raised to/for_YHWH six- teen thousand seven hundred(s) and_fifty shekel[s] from the_commanders the_thousands and_from the_commanders the_hundreds.
53 The_men the_battle they_had_taken_plunder everyone to_him/it.
54 And_he/it_took Mosheh and_ʼElˊāzār the_priest/officer DOM the_gold from the_commanders the_thousands and_the_hundreds and_brought DOM_him/it into the_tent of_meeting a_memorial for_sons of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yahweh.
