29 Ḩizəqiy^yāh he_became_king a_son of_twenty and_five year[s] and_twenty and_nine year[s] he_reigned in/on/at/with_Yərūshālayim and_name_of his/its_mother [was]_ʼAvīāh the_daughter of_Zəkarə^yāh.
2 And_he/it_made the_right in/on_both_eyes_of of_Yahweh according_to_all that he_had_done Dāvid his/its_father.
3 He in/on/at/with_year the_first of_reign_his in/on/at/with_month the_first he_opened DOM the_doors of_the_house of_Yahweh and_repaired_them.
4 And_he/it_brought DOM the_priests and_DOM the_Levites and_gathered_them in_square the_east.
5 And_he/it_said to/for_them hear_me the_Levites now consecrate_yourselves and_consecrate DOM the_house of_Yahweh the_god ancestors_your_all’s and_remove DOM the_defilement from the_holy_place.
6 DOM they_acted_unfaithfully fathers_our and_did the_evil in/on_both_eyes_of of_Yahweh god_our and_forsaken_him and_turned_away faces_their from_dwelling of_Yahweh and_turned a_neck.
7 Also they_shut the_doors the_portico and_put_out DOM the_lamps and_incense not they_made_smoke and_burnt_offerings not they_offered_up in/on/at/with_holy_place to_god of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
8 And_he/it_was the_severe_anger of_Yahweh towards Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālayim and_made_them mmm[fn] as_horror and_of_hissing just_as you_all [are]_seeing in/on/at/with_eyes_your_all’s_own.
9 And_see/lo/see they_have_fallen fathers_our in/on/at/with_sword and_sons_our and_daughters_our and_wives_our in/on/at/with_captivity on this.
10 Now [is]_with heart_my to_make a_covenant to/for_YHWH the_god of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_turn_away from_him/it the_burning anger_his.
11 Sons_my now do_not be_negligent DOM in/on/at/with_you_all he_has_chosen Yahweh to_stand in_presence_him to_serve_him and_to_be to_him/it servants and_burn_incense.
12 and_arose the_Levites Mahath the_son of_Amasai and_Yō^ʼēl the_son of_Azariah of the_descendants the_Kohathites and_from the_descendants of_Merari Kish the_son of_Abdi and_Azariah the_son of_Jehallelel and_from the_Gershonites Joah the_son of_Zimmah and_ˊĒden the_son of_Joah.
13 And_from the_descendants of_Elizaphan Shimri and_Jeiel[fn] and_from the_descendants of_ʼĀşāf Zəkarə^yāh and_Mattaniah.
14 and_from the_descendants of_Heman Jehiel[fn] and_Shimei and_from the_descendants of_Jeduthun Shemaiah and_ˊUzziy^ʼēl.
15 And_gathered DOM brothers_their and_consecrated and_they_came according_to_command the_king in/on/at/with_words of_Yahweh to_cleanse the_house of_Yahweh.
16 And_they_came the_priests into_inner_part the_house of_Yahweh to_cleanse and_brought_out DOM all the_unclean_things which they_found in_(the)_palace of_Yahweh to_courtyard of_the_house of_Yahweh and_took the_Levites to_carried to_valley of_Kidron outside_to.
17 And_began in/on/at/with_first of_the_month the_first to_consecration and_in/on/at/with_day eight of_the_month they_came to_portico of_Yahweh and_consecrated DOM the_house of_Yahweh for_days eight and_in/on/at/with_day six- teen of_the_month the_first they_finished.
18 and_went within to Ḩizəqiy^yāh the_king and_they_said we_have_cleansed DOM all the_house of_Yahweh DOM the_altar the_burnt_offering and_DOM all utensils_its and_DOM the_table the_rows and_DOM all utensils_its.
19 And_DOM all the_vessels which he_had_rejected the_king ʼĀḩāzz in/on/at/with_reign_his in/on/at/with_unfaithfulness_he we_have_prepared and_consecrated and_see_they to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_altar of_Yahweh.
20 and_rose_early Ḩizəqiy^yāh the_king and_gathered DOM the_officials the_city and_he/it_ascended the_house of_Yahweh.
21 And_brought young_bulls seven and_rams seven and_lambs seven and_male_goats_of of_goats seven as_sin_offering on the_kingdom and_for the_sanctuary and_for Yəhūdāh and_he/it_said to_descendants of_ʼAharon the_priests to_offer on the_altar of_Yahweh.
22 And_slaughtered the_bulls and_received the_priests DOM the_blood and_sprinkled the_altar_on and_slaughtered the_rams and_sprinkled the_blood the_altar_on and_slaughtered the_lambs and_sprinkled the_blood the_altar_on.
23 And_brought DOM the_goats the_sin_offering to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king and_the_assembly and_laid hands_their on_them.
24 And_slaughtered_them the_priests and_made_a_sin_offering DOM blood_their the_altar_on to_make_atonement on all Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM to/from_all/each/any/every Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) he_had_said the_king the_burnt_offering and_the_sin_offering.
25 And_stationed DOM the_Levites the_house of_Yahweh in/on/at/with_cymbals in/on/at/with_harps and_in/on/at/with_lyres in/on/at/with_command of_Dāvid and_Gād the_seer the_king and_Nātān the_prophet DOM in/on/at/with_hand of_Yahweh the_command in/on/at/with_hand prophets_his.
26 and_they_stood the_Levites in/on/at/with_instruments of_Dāvid and_the_priests in/on/at/with_trumpets.
27 and_he/it_said Ḩizəqiy^yāh to_offered the_burnt_offering on_the_altar and_in/on/at/with_time [when]_it_began the_burnt_offering it_began the_song of_Yahweh and_the_trumpets and_at the_hands of_the_instruments of_Dāvid the_king of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
28 And_all the_assembly [were]_bowing_down and_the_singers [was]_singing and_the_trumpeters [were]_blowing_a_trumpet[fn][fn] the_all [was]_until to_finished the_burnt_offering.
29 And_when_finished to_offering they_bowed_down the_king and_all the_present with_him/it and_worshiped.
30 And_he/it_said Ḩizəqiy^yāh the_king and_the_officials to_the_Levites to_sing_praises to/for_YHWH in/on/at/with_words of_Dāvid and_ʼĀşāf the_seer and_sang_praises to with_gladness and_bowed_down and_worshiped.
31 and_said Ḩizəqiy^yāh and_he/it_said now you_all_have_filled hand_of_yourselves to/for_YHWH draw_near and_bring sacrifices and_thank_offerings to_house of_Yahweh and_brought the_assembly sacrifices and_thank_offerings and_all [person]_willing of_heart burnt_offerings.
32 And_he/it_was the_number the_burnt_offerings which they_brought the_assembly cattle seventy rams one_hundred lambs two_hundred for_burnt_offering to/for_YHWH all these.
33 And_the_consecrated_offerings [were]_cattle six hundred(s) and_sheep three thousand(s).
34 Only the_priests they_were as_few and_not they_were_able to_skin DOM all the_burnt_offerings and_helped_them brothers_their the_Levites until was_complete the_work and_unto they_had_consecrated_themselves the_priests DOM the_Levites [were]_upright of_heart in_consecrating more_than_the_priests.
35 And_also burnt_offering[s] to_increase_in_number in/on/at/with_fat the_peace_offerings and_in/on/at/with_drink_offerings for_the_burnt_offerings and_established the_service of_the_house of_Yahweh.
36 And_rejoiced Ḩizəqiy^yāh and_all the_people on the_prepared the_ʼElhīmv for_the_people DOM in/on/at/with_quickness it_had_happened the_thing.
