God Establishes His Covenant with Isaac

26:1-5

26 Then there was a famine in the land, besides the earlier famine that was in the days of Abraham. So Isaac went to Abimelech, the king of the Philistines, to Gerar. 2 Then Yahweh appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land that I tell you. 3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. For to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will confirm the oath that I swore to Abraham your father. 4 And I will multiply your offspring as the stars of the heavens, and I will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed, 5 because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my requirements, my commands, my decrees, and my laws.”
