NETBut the next day Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks. When he did, Jeremiah said to him, “The Lord’s name for you is not ‘Pashhur’ but ‘Terror is Everywhere.’

BrLXXΚαὶ ἐξήγαγε Πασχὼρ τὸν Ἱερεμίαν ἐκ τοῦ καταράκτου· καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ἱερεμίας, οὐχὶ Πασχὼρ ἐκάλεσε τὸ ὄνομά σου, ἀλλʼ ἢ Μέτοικον.

BrTrAnd Paschor brought Jeremias out of the dungeon: and Jeremias said to him, The Lord has not called thy name Paschor, but Exile.
