Song 100/Let’s thank and praise Yahweh

Psa 100:1–5

100:0 Let’s thank and praise Yahweh

100 The song of thanking.

100 Cheerfully shout to Yahweh, everybody.

2 Serve Yahweh with gladness.

Enter his presence with cheerful songs.

3 Know that Yahweh is God.

He created us, and we are his.

≈We are his people and he cares for us like a shepherd cares for his sheep.

4 Thank him aloud as you enter his gates.

≈Praise him as you enter his courtyards.

Thank him and bless him

5 because Yahweh is good.

His loyal commitment to us continues forever,[ref]

≈and his truthfulness continues through the generations.
