This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.
1 This letter is from Paul, an missionary of Yeshua the messiah appointed by our saviour God’s command and by Yeshua the messiah who is our hope. 2 I’m writing to Timothy,[ref] my true child in the faith: may you receive grace, mercy, and peace from God the father and from our master, Yeshua the messiah.
Acts 16:1-3:
16:1 Paul and Silas also take Timothy with them
16 Then Paul went to Derbe and then on to Lystra where a believer named Timothy lived. His mother was a Jewish believer, but his father was Greek. 2 The believers in Lystra and Iconium spoke well of Timothy 3 and Paul wanted him to accompany them on his trip so he circumcised him in advance because of the Jews in that region—everyone knew that his father was a Greek.
