1 Paulos, an_ambassador of_chosen _one /messiah Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), according _to the_command of_god the_saviour of _us, and the_master Yaʸsous chosen _one /messiah the hope of _us, 2 to _Timotheos, genuine child in the_faith:
grace, mercy, peace from god the_father and chosen _one /messiah Yaʸsous the master of _us.
3 As I _implored you to _remain in Efesos, going to Makedonia, in _order _that you _may _command to _some not to _be _teaching _differently, 4 nor to _be _giving _heed to _myths and endless genealogies, which are _bringing _about speculations rather than management of_god, which is in faith.
5 And the outcome of _our charge is love out _of a_pure heart, and a_ good _conscience, and a_ unhypocritical _faith, 6 from _which some having _deviated, were _turned _away to useless _talk, 7 wanting to _be law _teachers, not understanding neither what they _are _saying, nor about what _all they _are _confirming.
8 But we _have _known that the law is good, if someone may _be _resorting to _it lawfully, 9 having _known this, that for_the_righteous the_law is_ not _appointing, but for_the_lawless and insubordinate, the_ungodly and the_sinners, unholy and profane, father _killers and mother _killers, murderers, 10 the_sexually _immoral, sodomisers, kidnappers, liars, perjurers, and if any other thing is _opposing to _the being _sound teaching, 11 according _to the good _message of _the glory of _the blessed god, which I was _entrusted.
12 I _am _having thankfulness for _the one having _strengthened me, chosen _one /messiah Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) the master of _us, because he _considered me faithful, having _appointed me to service, 13 the earlier being a_slanderous, and a_persecutor, and an_abuser, but I _was _shown _mercy, because not _knowing, I _did it in unbelief.
14 And the grace of _the master of _us, over _been _plentiful with faith and love which in chosen _one /messiah Yaʸsous.
15 Trustworthy is the saying, and worthy of _all acceptance:
that chosen _one /messiah Yaʸsous came into the world to _save sinners, of _whom I am the_first.
16 But because _of this I _was _shown _mercy, in _order _that in me first Yaʸsous chosen _one /messiah may _display his all patience, because/for a_pattern of _the ones going to _be _believing in him, to life eternal.
17 And to _the king of _the ages, the_indestructible, invisible, only god, honour and glory be, to the ages of _the ages.
Truly.
18 This the charge I _am _entrusting to _you, child, Timotheos, according _to the prophesies going _before to you, that you _may _be _warring by them the good warfare, 19 holding faith and a_good conscience, which some having _pushed _away, concerning their faith they _suffered _shipwreck, 20 of _whom is Humenaios and Alexandros, whom I _gave _over to_ the _Satan/(Sāţān), in _order _that they _may _be _disciplined not to _be _slandering.
