9:1 Yeshua forgives and heals a paralysed man

(Mark 2:1-12, Luke 5:17-26)

9 So Yeshua got into a boat and crossed back over to his own city of Capernaum. 2 Some people there brought a paralysed man to him lying on a stretcher. And when Yeshua saw their faith, he said to the man, “Son, be encouraged. Your sins are forgiven.”

3 Immediately some of the law teachers said among themselves, “This man presumes to be God.”

4 But Yeshua knew their thoughts and said, “Why are you thinking evil things in your hearts? 5 Do you think it’s easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’? 6 But so that you will know that humanity’s child has the authority here on earth to forgive sins,” he said, “stand up, take your stretcher, and go to your house.”

7 Then the man stood up and went off to his house. 8 The crowds were struck with fear after seeing this, yet they praised God for giving such authority to men.

9 And having _boarded into a_boat, he _crossed _over and came to his own city.
2 And see, they _were _bringing a_paralytic to _him having _been _laid on a_bed.
And the Yaʸsous having _seen the faith of _them, he _said to _the paralytic:
Be _having _courage, child, the sins of _you are _being _forgiven.
3 And see, some of _the scribes said among themselves:
This man is _slandering.
4 And the Yaʸsous having _seen the thoughts of _them said:
For/Because_ why _reason are _you _all _considering evil in the hearts of _you _all?
5 For/Because which is easier to _say:
The sins of _you are _being _forgiven, or to _say:
Be _raising and be _walking?
6 But in _order _that you _all _may _have _known that the son of_ the _man is _having authority on the earth to _be _forgiving sins (then he _is _saying to _the paralytic):
Having _been _raised, take _up the bed of _you and be _going to the house of _you.
7 And having _been _raised, he _went _away to the house of _him.
8 But having _seen this, the crowds were _afraid and they _glorified the god, who having _given such authority to_ the _humans.
