9:1 Yeshua forgives and heals a paralysed man

(Mark 2:1-12, Luke 5:17-26)

9So Yeshua got into a boat and crossed back over to his own city of Capernaum. 2Some people there brought a paralysed man to him lying on a stretcher. And when Yeshua saw their faith, he said to the man, “Son, be encouraged. Your sins are forgiven.”

3Immediately some of the law teachers said among themselves, “This man presumes to be God.”

4But Yeshua knew their thoughts and said, “Why are you thinking evil things in your hearts? 5Do you think it’s easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’? 6But so that you will know that humanity’s child has the authority here on earth to forgive sins,” he said, “stand up, take your stretcher, and go to your house.”

7Then the man stood up and went off to his house. 8The crowds were struck with fear after seeing this, yet they praised God for giving such authority to men.

9And having_boarded into a_boat, he_crossed_over and came to his own city.
2And see, they_were_bringing a_paralytic to_him having_been_laid on a_bed.
And the Yaʸsous having_seen the faith of_them, he_said to_the paralytic:
Be_having_courage, child, the sins of_you are_being_forgiven.
3And see, some of_the scribes said among themselves:
This man is_slandering.
4And the Yaʸsous having_seen the thoughts of_them said:
For/Because_ why _reason are_you_all_considering evil in the hearts of_you_all?
5For/Because which is easier to_say:
The sins of_you are_being_forgiven, or to_say:
Be_raising and be_walking?
6But in_order_that you_all_may_have_known that the son of_ the _man is_having authority on the earth to_be_forgiving sins (then he_is_saying to_the paralytic):
Having_been_raised, take_up the bed of_you and be_going to the house of_you.
7And having_been_raised, he_went_away to the house of_him.
8But having_seen this, the crowds were_afraid and they_glorified the god, who having_given such authority to_ the _humans.

9:9 Yeshua calls Matthew and they dine with ‘sinners’

(Mark 2:13-17, Luke 5:27-32)

9And as Yeshua was leaving there, he saw a man called Matthew (also known as Levi) sitting in the tax office. He said to Matthew, “Follow me.” And he got up and followed him.

10[ref]Later when Yeshua was eating at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came in and sat at the table together with Yeshua and his disciples. 11Some of the Pharisee party noticed this and said to his disciples, “How come your teacher eats with tax collectors and sinners?”

12But Yeshua heard this and said, “People who are well don’t need a doctor—only the ones with problems do. 13[ref]So go and find out the meaning of this: I like mercy not sacrifice. Because it’s sinners that I came to call, not those considered righteous.”

9And the Yaʸsous passing_by from_there, he_saw a_man being_called Matthaios sitting at the tax_office, and he_is_saying to_him.
Be_following after_me.
And having_risen_up, he_followed after_him.
10And it_became of_him reclining in the house, and see, many tax_collectors and sinners having_come were_reclining the with_Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) and the apprentices/followers of_him.
11And having_seen it, the Farisaios_party were_saying to_the apprentices/followers of_him:
For/Because_ why _reason is_ the teacher of_you_all _eating with the tax_collectors and sinners?
12And he having_heard said:
The ones being_strong are_ not _having need of_a_doctor, but the ones being sickly.
13But having_been_gone, learn what is this:
I_am_wanting Mercy and not sacrifice, because/for I_came not to_call the_righteous ones, but sinners.

9:14 Yeshua is asked about fasting

(Mark 2:18-22, Luke 5:33-39)

14Then the disciples of Yohan approached Yeshua and said, “How come that we and the Pharisees fast regularly, but your disciples don’t fast?”

15And Yeshua replied to them, “Surely the groomsmen aren’t sad while the groom is with them? But the time will come when the groom has to leave them and then they will fast.

16No one patches old clothes with new material because the patch will shrink and the clothes would end up with a worse hole. 17And they don’t put new wine into an old container, otherwise the container could split and be ruined and the wine would be lost. Rather they put new wine into a new container and both survive.”

14Then the apprentices/followers of_Yōannaʸs are_approaching to_him saying:
For/Because_ why _reason we and the Farisaios_party are_fasting, but the apprentices/followers of_you are_ not _fasting?
15And the Yaʸsous said to_them:
The sons of_the bridal_chamber are_ not _being_able to_be_mourning, because/for as_long_as the bridegroom is with them?
But days will_be_coming whenever the bridegroom may_be_taken_away from them, and then they_will_be_fasting.
16But no_one is_putting_on a_patch of_ unshrunken _cloth on a_ old _garment, because/for the patch of_it is_tearing_away from the garment, and a_worse tear is_becoming.
17Nor are_they_putting new wine into old wineskins, and if not surely, the wineskins are_being_burst, and the wine is_being_poured_out and the wineskins are_being_destroyed.
But they_are_putting new wine into new wineskins, and both are_being_preserved.

9:18 Yeshua raises a dead girl and heals a woman from bleeding

(Mark 5:21-43, Luke 8:40-56)

18While Yeshua was speaking to them, an official came and bowed to him saying, “My daughter has just passed away, but come and put your hand on her and she will revive.

19So Yeshua and his disciples got up and followed him.

20Just then a woman who had been bleeding internally for twelve years came up behind Yeshua and touched the edge of his robe 21because she had told herself that if she could just touch his robe, she would be healed.

22Yeshua turned and saw her and said, “Be encouraged, daughter, your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed that very moment.

23Now when Yeshua went into the house of the ruler, he saw the funeral musicians and the distressed people 24and he said, “Go away. The girl hasn’t died—she’s sleeping.” But they ridiculed him. 25However when the crowd was moved out, he went in and took her hand, and the girl got up. 26Then the news of this spread all around that region.

18Of_him speaking these things to_them, see, one ruler having_approached, he_was_prostrating to_him saying, that The daughter of_me now died, but having_come, lay_on the hand of_you on her and she_will_be_living.
19And the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) having_been_raised, followed after_him and the apprentices/followers of_him.
20And see, a_woman hemorrhaging twelve years having_approached behind, she_touched against_the fringe of_the garment of_him.
21For/Because she_was_saying in herself:
If only I_may_touch against_the garment of_him, I_will_be_being_healed.
22But the Yaʸsous having_been_turned and having_seen her said:
Be_having_courage, daughter, the faith of_you has_healed you.
And the woman was_healed from the that hour.
23And the Yaʸsous having_come into the house of_the ruler, and having_seen the flute_players and the crowd being_distressed 24he_was_saying:
Be_withdrawing, because/for the little_girl not died_off, but she_is_sleeping.
And they_were_ridiculing of_him.
25But when the crowd was_thrown_out, having_come_in he_took_hold of_the hand of_her, and the little_girl was_raised.
26And the this news came_out into all the that land.

9:27 Yeshua heals two blind men

27As Yeshua left the ruler’s home, two blind men followed him and called out, “Have mercy on us, son of David.”

28When he went into the house, the blind men went to him and Yeshua said to them, “Do you believe that I’m able to do this?”

They replied, “Yes, master.”

29Then he touched their eyes saying, “Let it be done to you in line with your faith.” 30Then their eyes were healed and Yeshua told them, “Don’t let anyone know about this.”

31But after they had departed, the men told the whole region about him.

27And passing_by from_there the with_Yaʸsous, two blind men followed after_him crying_out and saying:
Show_mercy to_us, son of_Dawid/(Dāvid).
28And having_come into the house, the blind men approached to_him, and the Yaʸsous is_saying to_them:
Are_you_all_believing that I_am_being_able to_do this?
They_are_saying to_him:
Yes, master.
29Then he_touched against_the eyes of_them saying:
Let_it_be_become to_you_all according_to the faith of_you_all.
30And the eyes of_them were_opened_up.
And the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) was_admonished to_them saying:
Be_seeing that let_ no_one _be_knowing.
31But the ones having_come_out, they_spread_ him _abroad in all the that land.

9:32 Yeshua heals a man who couldn’t talk

32As they were leaving, some people brought a man to Yeshua who was demon-possessed and unable to talk. 33After the demon was cast out, the man was able to speak and the crowds were amazed saying, “Never before has anything like this happened in Israel.” 34[ref]But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons with the help of the ruler of the demons.”

32And them coming_out, see, they_brought to_him mute being_demon_possessed.
33And the demon having_been_throw_out, the mute man spoke.
And the crowds marvelled saying:
It_was_ never _seen thus in the Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl).
34But the Farisaios_party were_saying:
He_is_throwing_out the demons by the ruler of_the demons.

9:35 The large harvest

35[ref]And Yeshua went around teaching in the meeting halls in all the cities and the villages and announcing the good news about the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and sickness. 36[ref]When he saw the crowds, he felt for them because they were tired and stressed like sheep with no shepherd. 37[ref]He said to his disciples, “The harvest is large, but there’s not enough workers. 38So ask the owner of the harvest to send more workers to help with it.”

35And the Yaʸsous was_going_around all the cities and the villages, teaching in the synagogues of_them, and proclaiming the good_message of_the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.
36And having_seen the crowds, he_was_feeling_compassion for them, because they_were having_been_troubled and having_been_helpless, as_if sheep not having a_shepherd.
37Then he_is_saying to_the apprentices/followers of_him:
On_one_hand the harvest is great, on_the_other_hand the workers are few,
38therefore be_besought of_the master of_the harvest, so_that he_may_send_forth workers into the harvest of_him.
