UST Then Aaron and his sons killed the bull, and, after collecting some of its blood in a bowl, Moses took the blood, and, using his finger, put some of it on every one of the four projected corners of the altar. By doing this, Moses purified the altar from the impurity of sin. The rest of the blood Moses poured out on the base of the altar, and so, he set the altar apart and dedicated it as a suitable place on which to offer sacrifices that would remove people’s sins from them and restore them to relationship with Yahweh.
