5 And_gave_him YHWH his/its_god in/on/at/with_hand _of the _king _of ʼArām and_defeated in_him/it and_took from_him/it captive[s] large and_brought Dammeseq and_also in/on/at/with_hand _of the _king _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) he _was _given and_defeated in/on/over_him/it a _defeat great.
6 and_ Fəqaḩ^yāh _killed the _son _of Rəmal^yāhū in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) one _hundred and_twenty thousand in/on_day one the_all [were]_sons _of strength in/on/at/with_abandoned_they DOM YHWH the _god _of ancestors _of_their.
7 And_ Zikrī _killed (the)_warrior _of ʼEfrayim DOM Maˊₐsē^yāh the _son _of the_king and_DOM ˊAzrīqām the _officer _of the_palace and_DOM ʼElqānāh the _second _of the_king.
8 and_ the _people _of _took _captive of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) of_brothers _of_their two _hundred thousand women sons and_daughters and_also booty much they _plundered from_them and_brought DOM the_booty to_Shomrōn.
9 and_there he _was a _prophet to/for_YHWH [was]_Oded his/its_name and_he/it _went _out to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before the_army the_came to_Shomrōn and_he/it _said to/for_them here in/on/at/with_angry _of YHWH the _god _of ancestors _of_your _all’s towards Yəhūdāh gave_them in/on/at/with_hand _of_your _all’s and_killed in/on/at/with_them in/on/at/with_rage [which]_to to _the_heaven it _has _reached.
10 And_now the _people _of Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) you _all [are]_saying to_subjugate as_slaves and_as_female _servants to/for_you _all not certainly you _all of_your _all’s [are]_guilt(s) to/for_YHWH god _of_your _all’s.
11 And_now listen _to_me and_return the_captives which you _all _have _taken _captive from_brothers _of_your _all’s if/because the _burning _of the _anger of_YHWH on_you _all.
12 and_ men _stood from_leaders _of the _descendants _of ʼEfrayim ˊAzar^yāh the _son _of Yəhōḩānān/(Jehohanan) Berek^yāh the _son _of Məshillēmōt and_Jehizkiah the _son _of Shallūm and_ˊAmāsāʼ the _son _of Hadlai on the_(ones _who)_went from the_war.
13 And_they _said to/for_them not you _all _must _bring DOM the_captives here if/because as_guilt _of YHWH on_us you _all [are]_saying to_add to sins _of_our and_to guilt _of_our if/because much guilt to/for_us and_fierce _of anger [is]_towards Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
14 and_left the_soldiers DOM the_captives and_DOM the_plunder to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before the_officials and_all the_assembly.
15 And_arose the_men who they _had _been _designated in/on/at/with_name and_took in/on/at/with_captives and_all naked _of_their they _clothed from the_plunder and_clothed_them and_gave _sandals_them and_food_them and_drink_them and_anointed_them and_carrying_them in/on/at/with_donkeys to/from_all/each/any/every [one _who]_stumbled and_brought_them Yərīḩō/(Jericho) (a)_city the_palm _trees beside brothers _of_their and_returned Shomrōn.
16 in/on/at/with_time the_that he _sent the_king ʼĀḩāz to the _kings _of ʼAshshūr for_help to_him/it.
17 And_again [the]_ʼEdōmites they _had _come and_attacked in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_carried _away captive[s].
18 And_Fəlishtiy they _had _made _a _raid in/on/at/with_cities _of the_shəfēlāh and_the_Negeⱱ of_Yəhūdāh and_captured DOM Bēyt Shemesh and_DOM ʼAyyālōn and_DOM the_Gederoth and_DOM Sōkoh and_her/its_daughters and_DOM Timnāh and_her/its_daughters and_DOM Gimzo and_DOM villages _of_its and_they _lived there.
19 If/because YHWH he _had _humbled DOM Yəhūdāh in_account _of ʼĀḩāz the _king _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) if/because he _had _allowed _lack _of _restraint in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh and_to _be _unfaithful unfaithfulness in/on/at/with_LORD.
20 And_came on/upon/above_him/it Tiglath- pileser the _king _of ʼAshshūr and_he/it _laid _siege to_him/it and_not strengthening_him.
21 If/because ʼĀḩāz he _had _plundered DOM the _house _of YHWH and_DOM the _house _of the_king and_the_princes and_he/it _gave to_king _of ʼAshshūr and_not as_help to_him/it.
