4 You masters, ensure that you’re treating your slaves with goodness and equality, knowing that you all also have a master of your own in heaven.[ref]

4:2 Further teaching for believers

2 Persevere in prayer, keeping watch and being thankful. 3 Pray together for us as well that God would open a door for us to share the message—to tell about the mystery of the messiah. That’s also why I’m in chains—4 so that I can explain the mystery whenever I have an opportunity to speak.

5 Use wisdom as you all walk towards non-believers, using the time wisely.[ref] 6 Always show grace in your conversations, like a meal that’s seasoned with salt, so you’ll know how to answer each person in their situation.

4:7 Final greetings

7 My dear brother and faithful servant and fellow slave, Tychicus, will tell you all about me.[ref] 8 I’m sending him to all of you there so you’ll find out the news that concerns you all and so that he can comfort you there. 9 The faithful and dear brother, Onesimus, who’s from your place will also be with him.[ref]

10 My fellow prisoner, Aristarchus, sends his greetings along with Barnabas’ cousin, Mark. You’ve already received instructions about that, so accept him if he arrives there.[ref] 11 Yeshua who’s nicknamed Yustus also sends his greetings. These guys are from strict Jewish backgrounds, but they’re my only fellow-workers for God’s kingdom who became an encouragement to me.

12 Epafras sends his greetings. He’s another one from your place and a slave of messiah Yeshua who always prays for you that you will stand mature and fully confident in all of God’s will.[ref] 13 I can assure you that he has strong concerns for you all, as well as those in Laodicea and in Hierapolis. 14 The dear doctor Luke greets you all, as does Demas.[ref]

15 Give my greetings to the brothers and sisters in Laodicea, and to Nympha and the assembly that meets in her house, 16 and whenever my letter gets read to you all, make sure that it’s also read to those from the assembly in Laodicea, and that you all also read their letter. 17 Tell Archippus to make sure to fulfil the duties that Yahweh gave him to do.[ref]

18 I, Paul, am writing this final greeting in my own handwriting. Remember me here in chains.

11 and Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), the one being _called Youstos, these are the ones being of the_circumcision, the_only fellow-workers for the kingdom of_ the _god, who were _become an_encouragement to _me.

12 Epafras who is of you _all is _greeting you _all, a_slave of_chosen _one /messiah Yaʸsous, always striving for you _all in the prayers, in _order _that you _all _may _be _stood mature and having _been _fully _assured in all the_will of_ the _god.

13 For/Because I _am _testifying to _him that he _is _having great distress for you _all, and the ones in Laodikeia, and the ones in Hierapolis.

14 Loukas the the beloved doctor is _greeting you _all, and Daʸmas.

15 Greet the brothers in Laodikeia, and Numfas, and the assembly in the_house of _them.

16 And whenever my letter may _be _read among you _all, make that also it _may _be _read in the assembly of_the_ones_from _Laodikeia, and that the letter from Laodikeia you _all may_ also _read.

17 And say to _Arⱪippos:
Be _watching _out to _the service that you _received in the_master, in _order _that you _may _be _fulfilling it.
