18 And_he/it _took to_him/it Rəḩaⱱˊām a _wife DOM Mahalath the _daughter _of[fn] of _Jerimoth the _son _of Dāvid Abihail the _daughter _of ʼElīʼāⱱ the _son _of Yishay/(Jesse).
19 And_she/it _gave _birth to_him/it sons DOM Jeush and_DOM Shemariah and_DOM Zaham.
20 And_after_her he _took DOM Maˊₐkāh the _daughter _of ʼAⱱīshālōm and_she/it _gave _birth to_him/it DOM ʼAⱱiy^yāh and_DOM Attai and_DOM Ziza and_DOM Shelomith.
21 And_ Rəḩaⱱˊām _loved DOM Maˊₐkāh the _daughter _of ʼAⱱīshālōm from_all wives _of_his and_concubines _of_him if/because wives eight- teen he _had _taken and_concubines sixty and_he/it _fathered twenty and_eight sons and_sixty daughters.
22 And_appointed as _the_chief Rəḩaⱱˊām DOM ʼAⱱiy^yāh the _son _of Maˊₐkāh as_prince in/on/at/with_brothers _of_his if/because to_make _king_him.
23 And_dealt _wisely and_distributed from_all sons _of_his to/from_all/each/any/every the _lands _of Yəhūdāh and_Binyāmīn to_all/each/any/every the _cities _of the_fortified and_he/it _gave to/for_them the_provisions to_increase _in _number and_sought a _multitude _of wives.
