ULT And they did not reckon with the men into whose hand they gave the silver to give to the doers of the work, for they were acting in faithfulness.

UST The men who supervised the work acted honestly. So when the king’s secretary and the high priest gave them money to pay the workers, they never required them to report how they had spent that money.
