Normally the OET discourages the reading of individual ‘verses’, but this view is only designed as a tool for Bible-translators and others doing comparisons of different translations—the older translations are further down the page (so you can read up from the bottom to trace the English translation history). The OET segments on this page are still early looks into the drafted texts of the Open English Translation of the Bible—please double-check these texts in advance before using in public.

וְלֹ֧א יְחַשְּׁב֣וּ אֶת־הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִתְּנ֤וּ אֶת־הַכֶּ֨סֶף֙ עַל־יָדָ֔ם לָתֵ֖ת לְעֹשֵׂ֣י הַמְּלָאכָ֑ה כִּ֥י בֶאֱמֻנָ֖ה הֵ֥ם עֹשִֽׂים
(Some words not found in UHB: that/for/because/then/when to,the_doers_of of,the_work they,gave_it and,they_repaired in=him/it DOM house_of YHWH )
If it would be more natural in your language, you could reverse the order of these phrases, since the second phrase gives the reason for the result that the first phrase describes. Alternate translation: [And because the men into whose hand they gave the silver to give to the doers of the work were acting in faithfulness, they did not reckon with them]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
אֲשֶׁ֨ר & עַל־יָדָ֔ם
(Some words not found in UHB: that/for/because/then/when to,the_doers_of of,the_work they,gave_it and,they_repaired in=him/it DOM house_of YHWH )
See how you translated the similar expression in [12:11](../12/11.md). Alternate translation: [into whose custody]

אֲשֶׁ֨ר & עַל־יָדָ֔ם
(Some words not found in UHB: that/for/because/then/when to,the_doers_of of,the_work they,gave_it and,they_repaired in=him/it DOM house_of YHWH )
In this verse, the word hand is singular in form, but it refers to the hands of all of the men who had been appointed to supervise the work. If you decide to keep the image of a hand that represents custody, if it would be helpful in your language, you could use the plural form of the word. Alternate translation: [into whose hands]

בֶאֱמֻנָ֖ה
(Some words not found in UHB: that/for/because/then/when to,the_doers_of of,the_work they,gave_it and,they_repaired in=him/it DOM house_of YHWH )
If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of faithfulness, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [faithfully]
