OET 1PET chapter 5

5 Because of that I am encouraging your elders as a fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of the messiah and also a partner in the GLORY that’s going to be revealed: 2 [ref]Carefully shepherd God’s people that you care for, not out of compulsion but willingly, listening to God, not greedily but enthusiastically, 3 not exercising dominance over them, but being examples for them. 4 Then when the chief shepherd returns, you all will receive the unfading crown of honour.

5 [ref]Similarly, you younger ones, take the advice of your elders, and all of you, show humility to each other because ‘God opposes those who’re proud, but displays grace to those who’re humble.’ 6 [ref]So humble yourselves under God’s might hand so that he might honour you at the right time. 7 Give all your concerns to him because he cares about you all.

8 Stay alert and keep watch. Your opponent, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, wanting to swallow you all up 9 but remain firmly in the faith and resist him, knowing that fellow believers all around the world experiencing similar sufferings are doing the same. 10 Then God, the source of all grace and the one who called you to his eternal GLORY in the messiah will prepare you all as you suffer a little, and will then strengthen you as you’re established. 11 May his ruling be powerful throughout all the ages. May it be so.

5 Therefore I _am _exhorting elders among you _all, the a_fellow-elder and witness of _the sufferings of _the chosen _one /messiah, also the partner of _the glory going to _be _being _revealed, 2 shepherd the flock of_ the _god among you _all, not compulsory, but willingly, according _to god, not greedily, but eagerly, 3 not as exercising _mastership over _the allotments, but becoming examples to _the flock.
4 And the chief _shepherd having _been _revealed, you _all _will _be _receiving _back the unfading crown of_ the _glory.
5 Likewise, younger ones, be _subjected to_^your_elders.
And, all tie _in the humility to _one _another because:
- god is _opposing against_the_proud, but is _giving grace to_the_humble ones.
6 Therefore be _humbled under the mighty hand of_ the _god, in _order _that he _may _exalt you _all in time, 7 having _throw _on all the worry of _you _all on him, because with _him is _caring about you _all.
8 Be _sober, watch.
The opponent of _you _all, the_devil, is _walking as a_lion roaring, seeking to _swallow _up, 9 against _whom resist, solid in _the in _faith, having _known the same things of _the sufferings, by _the in the world of _you _all brotherhood to _be _being _accomplished.
10 And the god of _all grace, the one having _called you _all to the eternal glory of _him in chosen _one /messiah, you _having _suffered little, he will _be _preparing you, will _be _strengthening you, will _be _strengthening you, 11 to _him be the dominion for the ages.
