OET-LV And_not you(pl)_will _swear _an _oath by_name _of_my to_falsehood and_you _will _profane DOM the _name _of your(pl)_god _of_your I am_YHWH.

ULT And you shall not swear by my name to a lie and profane the name of your God. I, am Yahweh.

UST No one should call on me to be a false witness in order to acquit himself from the guilt of his wrongdoing. Doing so would dishonor me and associate the God of Israel with the impurity that comes from wrongdoing. Remember: I am Yahweh!
