This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.
13:24 The universe collapses as the son arrives
24 [ref]“After those very difficult times, the sun will go dark and the moon won’t shine at night. 25 [ref]The stars will fall down out of the sky and the powers in the heavens will be shaken up. 26 [ref]Then the people will see humanity’s child in the clouds coming with incredible power and brightness. 27 He’ll send the messengers out to collect all the chosen people from the four corners of the world, from everywhere between the earth and the sky.
24:29 The miraculous appearance of the messiah
29 [ref]“But immediately after the troubles of that time, the sun will go dark and the moon won’t give its light. The stars will fall from the sky and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 [ref]And then a miracle will appear in the sky as humanity’s child arrives. All the peoples of the earth will be upset and they’ll see humanity’s child arriving on the clouds in the sky with power and great splendour. 31 There’ll be a trumpet blast as he sends out his messengers to bring together all his chosen people from every part of the earth—from one pole to the other.
21:25 The return of humanity’s child
25 [ref]“There’ll be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and anguish in countries around the world as they’re puzzled by the noise of the sea and surf. 26 People will faint from fear and worry about what’s happening to the planet, because the powers in the universe[fn] will be shaken. 27 [ref]Then they’ll see humanity’s child coming down in a cloud with power and great brightness. 28 But when these things start to happen, stand straight and look upwards, because your new lives of freedom will be about to begin.”
21:26 This could possibly be referring to a shake-up of spiritual powers, but more likely refers to the physical universe from our moon and solar system outwards.
