150.2 Secundum multitudinem magnitudinis his. Quomodo hoc, when/with magnitudinis his not/no it_is finis? but spiritualibus and sanctis it_is_said hoc. And when/with not/no sit finis magnitudinis, after/second her laudatur God, when/with without fine laudetur. Quomodo however debeat laudari, per similitudines mysticas usque to finem psalmi dicit: Tuba concrepet regi, psalterium canat Deo: cithara when/with reliwho/any sponso. Tuba because terribilis, or in bello sumitur, vel, in adventibus regum apparatur; psalterium a summo, cithara away imo sonat: this omnia, humanis actibus comparata, figuraliter ibi dicuntur laudes God personare.

Ps 150 Everything that breathes is commanded to praise the Lord as he deserves. The whole Psalter describes the greatness of the Lord, so this psalm is a fitting conclusion.

“the great things he has done.” God’s mighty acts could mean: (1) natural such as thunderstorms and earthquakes or (2) miraculous such as healings and great victories in battle.
