21 After these things, Jesus revealed Himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. Now He revealed Himself in this way: 2 Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter says to them, "I am going to fish." They say to him, "We also are coming with you." They went forth and went up into the boat, and during that night they caught nothing. 4 Now morning already having come, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not know that it is Jesus. 5 Therefore Jesus says to them, "Children do you have any food?" They answered Him, "No." 6 And He said to them, "Cast the net to the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and they were not able to haul it in from the multitude of the fish. 7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved says to Peter, "It is the Lord." So Simon Peter, having heard that it is the Lord, put on the outer garment, (for he was naked), and he cast himself into the sea. 8 Now the other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net with the fish, for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away. 9 So when they got out onto the land, they see a fire of coals lying, and a fish lying on it, and bread. 10 Jesus says to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have now caught." 11 Therefore Simon Peter went up and drew the net to the land, full of large fish, a hundred fifty-three. Although there are so many, the net was not torn. 12 Jesus says to them, "Come, have breakfast." But none of the disciples dared to ask Him, "Who are You?" knowing that it is the Lord. 13 Jesus comes and takes the bread and gives it to them, and the fish likewise. 14 This is now the third time Jesus was revealed the disciples, having been raised out from the dead. 15 Therefore when they had dined, Jesus says to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?" He says to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I dearly love You." He says to him, "Feed My lambs." 16 He says to him again a second time, "Simon son of John, do you love Me?" He says to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I dearly love You." He says to him, "Shepherd My sheep." 17 He says to him the third time, "Simon son of John, do you dearly love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you dearly love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I dearly love You." Jesus says to him, "Feed My sheep. 18 Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you dressed yourself and walked where you desired; but when you shall be old, you will stretch forth your hands, and another will dress you and will bring you where you do not desire." 19 Now He said this signifying by what death he will glorify God. And having said this, He says to him, "Follow Me." 20 Having turned, Peter sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following, the one who also had reclined on His bosom at the supper and said, "Lord, who is it who is betraying You?" 21 Therefore having seen him, Peter says to Jesus, "Lord, and what about this man?" 22 Jesus says to him, "If I desire him to remain until I come, what is it to you? You follow Me!" 23 Therefore this saying went out among the brothers, that this disciple does not die. But Jesus had not said to him that he does not die, but, "If I desire him to remain until I come, what is it to you?" 24 This is the disciple bearing witness concerning these things, and the one having written these things. And we know that his testimony is true. 25 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if every one should be written, I suppose not even the world itself to have space for the books to be written.
