3 The saying is trustworthy:
If anyone is _aspiring to _overseeing, he _is _desiring of_a_good work.
2 Therefore it _is _fitting the overseer to _be irreproachable, the_husband of _one wife, sober, sensible, respectable, hospitable, teaching, 3 not winebibbing, nor a_bully, but gentle, peaceable, ungreedy, 4 leading of _his own house well, having children in submission, with all dignity 5 (but if someone has_ not _known to _lead of _his own house, how will _he _be _taking _care of_the_assembly of_god?
) 6 Not a_neophyte, in _order _that not having _been _conceited, he _may _fall _in into the_judgment of _the devil.
7 And it _is _fitting him also, to _be _having a_ good _testimony from the ones outside, in _order _that he _may_ not _fall _in into derision and the_snare of _the devil.
8 Servants likewise should _be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to_ much _wine, not greedy, 9 holding the mystery of _the faith in a_ clean _conscience.
10 And also let_ these _be _being _approved first, thereafter let _them _be _serving, being unindictable.
11 /Their /_wives likewise should _be dignified, not diabolical, sober, faithful in all things.
12 Servants, let_ them _be husbands of _one wife, leading of_^their_children well and of _their own households.
13 For/Because the ones having _served well are _procuring a_ good _standing for _themselves, and great confidence in the_faith which in chosen _one /messiah Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa).
14 I _am _writing these things to _you, hoping to _come to you in quickness, 15 but if I _may _be _slowing, in _order _that you _may _have _known how it _is _fitting to _be _being _conducted in the_household of_god, which is the_assembly of_god the_living, the_pillar and foundation of _the truth.
16 And confessedly great is the of_ the _devoutness mystery:
Who was _revealed in the_flesh, was _justified in the_spirit, was _seen by _messengers, was _proclaimed among the_nations, was _believed in the_world, was _taken _up in glory.
