4 Do _ notbe like _ your(pl) _ of_ ancestors whom they _ proclaimedto _ them the _ prophets (the) _ former to _ say thus he _ saysYHWH hosts turn _ backplease from _ your(pl) _ of_ ways (the) _ evil and _ your(pl) _ of_ deeds [fn ] [fn ] (the) _ evil and _ not they _ listenedand _ not they _ paid_ attentionto _ me the _ utterance_ ofYHWH 5 Ancestors _ of_ your(pl) where are _ theyand _ the _ prophets forever do _ they_ live6 Nevertheless words/messages _ of_ my and _ my _ of_ regulations which I _ commandedDOM servants _ of_ my the _ prophets am _ not did _ they_ overtakeancestors _ of_ your(pl) and _ they _ repentedand _ they _ saidjust _ as he _ plannedYHWH hosts for _ doing to/for _ us according _ to _ of_ our _ waysand _ according _ to _ of_ our _ deedsso he _ has_ donewith _ us .

8 I _ sawthe _ night and _ see/lo/see a _ manwas _ ridingon a _ horsered and _ he was _ standingbetween the _ myrtle_ trees which were _ in_ hollow and _ were _ behind _ him horses red sorrel and _ white .
9 And _ I _ saidwhat are _ thesemy _ master and _ he/it _ saidto _ me the _ messenger who _ was _ speakingwith _ me I I _ will _ show_ youwhat they are _ these10 And _ he _ answeredthe _ man who _ was _ standingbetween the _ myrtle_ trees [fn ] and _ he _ saidthese are _ those _ whomhe _ has_ sentYHWH to _ go _ abouton _ the_ earth .
11 And _ they _ answeredDOM the _ messenger_ ofYHWH who _ was _ standingbetween the _ myrtle_ trees and _ they _ saidwe _ have_ gone_ aboutin/on _ the_ earth and _ see/lo/see all _ ofthe _ earth/land is _ dwellingand _ is _ undisturbed .
12 And _ the _ messenger_ of_ he _ answeredof _ YHWH and _ he _ saidOh _ YHWH hosts until when you not will _ you_ have_ compassion_ onDOM Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ DOM the _ cities_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) which you _ have_ been_ indignantthis seventy year[s] .
13 And _ YHWH _ he _ answeredDOM the _ messenger who _ was _ speakingwith _ me words/messages good words/messages comfort(s) .
14 And _ he/it _ saidto _ me the _ messenger who _ was _ speakingwith _ me proclaim to _ say thus YHWH he _ sayshosts I _ am_ jealousfor _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ for _ Tsiyyōn/(Zion) jealousy great .
15 And _ anger great I am _ angrytowards the _ nations (the) _ at_ ease that I I _ was_ angrya _ littleand _ they they _ have_ helpedfor _ evil .
16 For _ so/thus/hence thus YHWH he _ saysI _ have_ returnedto _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) with _ compassion(s) house _ of_ my it _ will_ be_ rebuiltin _ it the _ utterance_ ofYHWH hosts and _ a _ measuring-line[fn ] it _ will_ be_ stretched_ outover Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
17 Again proclaim to _ say thus YHWH he _ sayshosts again cities _ of_ my they _ will_ overflowfrom _ good and _ YHWH _ he _ will_ comfortagain DOM Tsiyyōn and _ he _ will_ chooseagain (in) _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
