Moab

2This is what Yahweh says:

Even if Moab was three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away its punishment,

because he completely burnt up the bones of the Edom’s king.[ref]

2I’ll send fire on Moab,

and it will devour Keriot’s fortresses.

Moab will die in an uproar—

with shouting and the sound of the horn. 3I’ll wipe out her judge,

and I’ll kill all the leaders along with him,”

says Yahweh.

2thus YHWH he_says on three (the)_transgressions_of Mōʼāⱱ and_for four not revoke_him because burned_he the_bones_of the_king_of ʼEdōm to_the_lime.
2And_send a_fire in/on/at/with_Mōʼāⱱ and_consume the_fortresses_of the_Qəriyyōt and_die in/on/at/with_tumult Mōʼāⱱ in/on/at/with_war_cries in/on/at/with_sound_of a_trumpet.
3And_cut_off a_judge from_midst_of_its and_all officials_of_its I_will_kill with_him/it YHWH he_says.

4This is what Yahweh says:

Even if Yehudah was three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away its punishment,

because they rejected Yahweh’s instructions

and didn’t keep his regulations.

Their lies caused them to go astray,

just like their ancestors had done. 5I’ll send fire on Yehudah,

and it’ll devour Yerushalem’s fortresses.”

4thus YHWH he_says on three (the)_transgressions_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_for four not revoke_him because rejected_they DOM the_law_of YHWH and_statutes_of_his not they_have_kept and_led_astray_them lies_of_their which they_walked ancestors_of_their after_them.
5And_send a_fire in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh and_consume the_fortresses_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).

6This is what Yahweh says:

Even if Yehudah was three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away its punishment,

because they sold the innocent for silver

and the needy for a pair of sandals. 7They trample the heads of the poor into the dust.

They just push the oppressed out of the way.

A man and his father go lie with the same girl

and so profane my sinless reputation. 8They lie down beside every altar on clothes taken from the poor as pledges,

and in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who were fined.

9Yet I destroyed the Amorites before them.

They were as tall as of cedars

and as strong as oaks.

Yet I destroyed their fruit up high

and their roots down below.[ref] 10Also, I brought you all out of Egypt (Heb. Mitsrayim)

and led you forty years in the wilderness

so you all could possess the land of the Amorites.

11I raised prophets up from among your sons

and devoted Nazirites from your young men.

Isn’t that right, you Israelis?

This is Yahweh’s declaration.[ref]

12But you all persuaded the Nazirites to drink wine[ref]

and ordered the prophets not to prophesy.

13Listen, I’m going to make you lose your stability

just like a cart wobbles when it’s carrying a heavy load of grain.

14Even fast people won’t be able to reach a safe place.

The strong won’t have enough strength of their own,

and the powerful won’t be able to save themselves.

15The archer holding the bow will be forced to retreat.

Even the fast runner won’t be able to escape.

The horse-rider won’t escape with his life.

16Even the bravest warriors will flee naked that day.

That is Yahweh’s declaration.

6thus YHWH he_says on three (the)_transgressions_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_for four not revoke_him because sell_they in/on/at/with_silver the_righteous and_needy in_account_of a_pair_of_sandals.
7The_trample on the_dust_of the_earth in/on/at/with_heads_of poor_people and_way_of humble_people they_turn_aside and_man and_father_of_his they_go into the_girl so_as to_profane DOM the_name_of holy_of_my.
8And_on garments taken_as_pledges they_stretch_out beside every_of altar and_wine fines they_drink the_house_of god_of_their.
9And_I I_destroyed DOM the_ʼAmorī from_their_face/front who like_height_of cedars height_of_his and_strong he as_the_oaks and_destroyed fruit_of_his at_above and_roots_of_his at_below.
10And_I I_brought_up DOM_you_all from_land_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) and_led DOM_you_all in/on/at/with_wilderness forty year[s] to_possess DOM the_land_of the_ʼAmorī.
11And_raised_up some_of_sons_of_your_all’s to_prophets and_some_of_young_men_of_your_all’s to_nazirites indeed not is_this Oh_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) the_utterance_of YHWH.
12And_drink DOM the_nazirites wine and_to the_prophets you_all_commanded to_say not you_all_must_prophesy.
13Here I am_about_to_make_totter in_place_your_all’s just_as it_totters the_cart the_full_of to/for_her/it cut_grain.
14And_ a_place_of_escape _perish from_swift and_strong not he_will_make_firm strength_of_his and_warrior not he_will_save life_of_his.
15And_handle_of the_bow not he_will_stand and_swift in/on/at/with_foot_of_his not he_will_save and_rides_of the_horse not he_will_save life_of_his.
16And_stout_of his/its_heart in/on/at/with_warriors naked he_will_flee in_the_day (the)_that the_utterance_of YHWH.
