BSB Should it be said, O house of Jacob,
⇔ “Is the Spirit of the LORD impatient?
⇔ Are these the things He does?”
 ⇔ Do not My words bring good
⇔ to him who walks uprightly?

OEB Is the Lord impatient, or are such things his deeds?
 ⇔ Are not his words favourable to the family of Jacob?”
 ⇔ Aren’t my commands good for those who obey them?

WEB Shall it be said, O house of Jacob,
⇔ “Is Yahweh’s Spirit angry?
⇔ Are these his doings?
⇔ Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”

NET Does the family of Jacob say,
 ⇔ ‘The Lord’s patience can’t be exhausted –
 ⇔ he would never do such things’?
 ⇔ To be sure, my commands bring a reward
 ⇔ for those who obey them,

BRN who says, The house of Jacob has provoked the Spirit of the Lord; are not these his practices? Are not the Lord's words right with him? and have they not proceeded correctly?
