7 And _ hired to/for _ them two and _ thirty thousand chariot[s] and _ DOM the _ kingof _ Maˊₐkāh and _ DOM army _ his and _ they _ cameand _ camped to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeMēydə ⱱāʼ and _ the _ sonsof _ ˊAmmōnthey _ gatheredfrom _ cities _ their and _ they _ cameto _ the_ battle .
8 and _ he/it _ listenedDāvid and _ sent DOM Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and _ DOM all [the] _ armythe _ mighty .
9 And _ they _ went_ outthe _ peopleof _ ˊAmmōnand _ drew _ upbattle the _ entrancethe _ city and _ the _ kings who they _ had_ comeby _ themselves in/on/at/with _ field .
10 And _ he/it _ sawYōʼāⱱ if/because _ thatit _ wasthe _ facethe _ battle to _ him/it before and _ rear and _ chose from _ all chosen _ [man]in/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ arrayed to _ against ʼArām .

16 and _ he/it _ sawʼArām if/because _ thatthey _ had_ been_ defeatedto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ sent messengers and _ brought _ outDOM ʼArām which from _ beyond the _ river and _ Shophach the _ commanderof _ the_ armyof _ Hₐdadˊezer at _ head _ them .
17 And _ told to _ Dāvid and _ gathered DOM all Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he/it _ passed_ throughthe _ Yardēn/(Jordan) and _ came to _ them and _ drew _ up_ forcesagainst _ them and _ set _ inarrayDāvid to _ against ʼArām battle and _ fought with _ him/it .
18 And _ fled ʼArām from _ to/for _ face/front/presence Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ killed Dāvid of _ Aramean seven thousand(s) charioteer[s] and _ forty thousand man on _ footand _ DOM Shophach the _ commanderthe _ army he _ killed19 And _ they _ sawthe _ servantsof _ Hₐdadˊezer if/because _ thatthey _ had_ been_ defeatedto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ made _ peacewith Dāvid and _ became _ subject_ to_ him and _ not it _ was_ willingʼArām to _ help DOM the _ peopleof _ ˊAmmōnagain .
