8 and _ Dāvid _ he/it _ listenedand _ he _ sentDOM Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and _ DOM all _ ofthe _ armythe _ warriors .
9 And _ the _ people_ of_ they _ went_ outof _ ˊAmmōnand _ they _ deployedbattle the _ entrance_ ofthe _ city and _ the _ kings who they _ had_ comethey _ alone were _ in_ country .
10 And _ Yōʼāⱱ _ he/it _ sawif/because _ thatit _ wasthe _ face_ ofthe _ battleto _ him/it before and _ behind and _ he _ chosefrom _ all chosen _ man in _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he _ deployedto _ meet ʼArām .
11 And _ DOM the _ rest_ ofthe _ peoplehe _ putin _ the _ hand_ ofʼAⱱshay his/its _ woman and _ they _ deployedto _ meet the _ people_ ofˊAmmōn .
12 And _ he/it _ saidif it _ will_ be_ too _ strongfor _ me ʼArām and _ you _ will_ becometo/for _ me (into) _ deliverance and _ if the _ people_ ofˊAmmōn they _ will_ be_ too _ strongfor _ you and _ I _ will _ deliver_ you13 Be _ strongand _ let _ us_ show_ ourselves_ strongfor people _ of_ our and _ for the _ cities_ ofour _ god_ of_ of and _ YHWH the _ good in _ his _ of_ eyes he _ will_ do14 And _ Yōʼāⱱ _ he _ drew_ nearand _ the _ people which with _ him/it to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeʼArām for _ battle and _ they _ fledfrom _ before _ of_ him .

17 And _ it _ was_ toldto _ Dāvid and _ he _ gatheredDOM all _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he/it _ passed_ throughthe _ Yardēn/(Jordan) and _ he _ cameto _ them and _ he _ deployedagainst _ them and _ Dāvid _ he _ deployedto _ ʼArām _ meet battle and _ they _ engaged_ in_ battlewith _ him/it .
18 And _ ʼArām _ it _ fledfrom _ to/for _ face/front/presence Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ Dāvid _ he _ killedof _ ʼArām seven _ ofthousand(s) charioteer[s] and _ forty thousand man on _ footand _ DOM Shōfāk the _ commander_ ofthe _ armyhe _ killed19 And _ the _ servants_ of_ they _ sawof _ Hₐdadˊezer if/because _ thatthey _ had_ been_ defeatedto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ they _ made_ peacewith Dāvid and _ they _ served _ himand _ not ʼArām it _ was_ willingto _ deliver DOM the _ people_ ofˊAmmōn again .
