16 And _ ˊOⱱadyāh the _ son_ ofShə maˊyāh the _ son_ ofGālāl the _ son_ ofYə dūtūn/(Jeduthun) and _ Berekyāh the _ son_ ofʼĀşāʼ the _ son_ ofʼElqānāh who _ dwelt in _ the _ villages_ ofthe _ Nə ţofātī[s]17 And _ the _ gatekeepers were _ Shallūmand _ ˊAqqūⱱ and _ Ţalmōn and _ ʼAḩīman and _ their _ of_ brother Shallūm was _ the_ chief .

30 And _ from the _ sons_ ofthe _ priestswere _ those_ who_ mixed_ of(of) _ the_ ointment _ mixtureof _ spices .
31 And _ Mattityāh one _ ofthe _ Lēviyyiy he was _ the_ firstborn of _ Shallūm the _ Qoraḩite in _ faithfulness was _ overthe _ work_ ofthe _ flat_ cakes32 And _ from the _ sons_ ofthe _ Qə hātite[s]some _ ofrelatives _ of_ their were _ overthe _ bread_ ofthe _ rowto _ prepare _ sabbath _ ofsabbath .
33 and _ these the _ singers the _ heads_ offathers of _ Lēviyyiy were _ in_ rooms let _ go_ off_ duty[fn ] if/because by _ dayand _ night was _ on_ them in _ work .
34 These were _ the_ heads_ ofthe _ fathersof _ Lēviyyiy to _ their _ of_ generations chiefs these they _ dweltin _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
35 and _ in _ Giⱱˊōn the _ father_ ofthey _ dweltof _ GiⱱˊōnYə ˊīʼēl /(Jeiel) [fn ] and _ name _ ofhis/its _ wife/woman was _ Maˊₐkāh .
36 And _ his _ of_ son the _ firstborn was _ ˊAⱱdōnand _ Tsūr/(Tsūr) and _ Qīsh and _ Baˊal and _ Nēr and _ Nādāⱱ .
37 And _ Gə dor and _ ʼAḩyō and _ Zə karyāh and _ Miqlōt .
38 And _ Miqlōt he _ fatheredDOM Shimˊāʼm and _ also they before relatives _ of_ their they _ dweltin _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) with relatives _ of_ their .
39 and _ Nēr he _ fatheredDOM Qīsh and _ Qīsh he _ fatheredDOM Shāʼūl/(Saul) and _ Shāʼūl he _ fatheredDOM Yōnātān/(Yə hōnātān/(Jonathan)) and _ DOM Malkī- Shūˊa and _ DOM ʼAⱱīnādāⱱ and _ DOM ʼAshbaˊal .
40 And _ the _ son_ ofYōnātān was _ Mə rīⱱ-baˊalwas _ Mə rīⱱ-baˊaland baˊal he _ fatheredDOM Mīkāh .
41 And _ the _ sonsof _ Mīkāhwere _ Pitōnand _ Melek and _ Taḩrēˊa .
42 And _ ʼĀḩāz he _ fatheredDOM Yaˊrāh/(Jarah) and _ Yaˊrāh/(Jarah) he _ fatheredDOM ˊĀlemet and _ DOM ˊAzmāvet and _ DOM Zimrī and _ Zimrī he _ fatheredDOM Mōʦāʼ .
43 And _ Mōʦāʼ he _ fatheredDOM Binˊāʼ and _ Rə fāyāh son _ of_ was _ hisʼElˊāsāh son _ of_ was _ hisʼĀʦēl his/its _ son .
44 And _ belonged _ to _ ʼĀʦēl six sons and _ these names _ of_ are _ theirˊAzrīqām Bokrū and _ Yishmāˊʼēl /(Ishmael) and _ Shə ˊaryāh and _ ˊOⱱadyāh and _ Ḩānān these were _ the_ sons_ ofʼĀʦēl .
