13 He he_was with Dāvid at_Paş- dammim and_the_Fəlishtiy they_were_gathered there[fn] for_battle and_it_became the_portion_of the_field full barley(s) and_the_people they_fled from_face/in_front_of the_Fəlishtiy.
14 And_they_took_their_stand in_the_middle_of the_portion and_they_delivered_it and_they_struck_down DOM the_Fəlishtiy and_ YHWH _he_gave_victory a_victory great.

17 And_he_desired[fn] Dāvid and_he_said who will_he_give_me_to_drink water from_the_well_of Bēyt- lehem which is_at_gate.
18 And_they_broke_through the_three in_the_camp_of the_Fəlishtiy and_they_drew water from_the_well_of Bēyt- lehem which was_at_gate and_they_carried_them and_they_brought_them to Dāvid and_not Dāvid he_was_willing to_drink_them and_he_poured_out DOM_them to/for_YHWH.
19 And_he/it_said far_be_it to/for_me from_god_of_my from_doing this_thing the_blood_of the_men the_these will_I_drink with_lives_of_their if/because with_lives_of_their they_brought_them and_not he_was_willing to_drink_them these_things they_did the_three_of the_warriors.
20 And_ʼAⱱshay the_brother_of Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) he[fn] he_was the_chief_of the_three and_he he_wielded DOM spear_of_his on three hundred(s) slain and_belonged_to[fn] a_name among_three.
21 More_than the_three by_twofold he_was_honoured and_he/it_was to/for_them (into)_a_commander and_unto the_three not he_came.
22 Bənāyāh the_son_of Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) was_a_son_of a_man_of strength great_of deeds from Qaⱱʦəʼēl he he_struck_down DOM the_two_of the_warrior[s] of_Mōʼāⱱ and_he he_went_down and_he_struck_down DOM the_lion in_the_middle of_the_pit in/on_day of_the_snow.
