Psalm 148

148 Hallelu Yah!

Praise Yahweh from the heavens;

praise him in the heights.

2 Praise him, all of his angels;

praise him, all of his armies.

3 Praise him, sun and moon;

praise him, all of the stars of light.

4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens,

and the waters that, are above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh,

for he, he commanded, and they were created.

6 And he established them forever and ever;

he gave a decree, and it will not pass away.

7 Praise Yahweh from the earth,

sea creatures and all depths,

8 fire and hail, snow and vapor,

wind of tempest, doing his word,

9 mountains and all hills,

tree of fruit and all cedars,

10 the living, creature and every beast,

the creeper and the bird of wing,

11 kings of the earth and all peoples,

princes and all judges of the earth,

12 young men and also young women,

old men with youths.

13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh,

for his name alone is exalted;

his splendor, is over the earth and the heavens.

14 And he has raised up a horn for his people,

praise for all of his faithful,

for the sons of Israel, a people near to him.
