Psalm 72

Psalm

A psalm of Solomon.

72 A Psalm of Solomon king righteous decrees,

your righteousness the king’s

2 May he judge people righteousness

and your poor justice.

3 May the mountains

may the hills righteousness.

4 May he judge poor the people;

may he save children the needy

and break in pieces oppressor.

5 May they honor the sun endures,

and as long as moon lasts all

6 May he come down rain mown grass,

like showers water earth.

7 May the righteous his days,

and may there be an abundance peace moon no more.

8 May he have dominion sea

and from the River the ends the

9 May those who live in the wilderness down him;

may his enemies dust.

10 May kings Tarshish of the islands tribute;

may kings Sheba Seba

11 Indeed, may all down him;

may all him.

12 For helps needy person cries out

and the poor person has other

13 He has pity poor needy,

and he saves lives of needy

14 He redeems lives oppression violence,

and their blood precious his sight.

15 May he live! the gold Sheba given him.

May people always him;

may God bless him long.

16 May there be grain the land;

on the mountaintops their crops wave.

May the fruit of it like Lebanon;

may the people flourish the cities the grass the field.

17 May his name

may his name as long as sun;

may people blessed him;

may all him blessed.

18 May God of be blessed,

who alone things.

19 May his glorious blessed

and may the whole filled glory.
